  • Today we are in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at SMOKY MOUNTAIN BURRITOS MEXICAN GRILL. Off the main strip yet so far off the beaten path! Did we just find where the locals eat? Open past 9 P.M., Is this THE place to find late night eats in the Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Smoky Mountain region?
SMOKY MOUNTAIN BURRITOS MEXICAN GRILL has a lengthy menu of street fare, seafood, fajitas & other south-of-the-border chow.

Good that you found a good Mexican Restaurant that is opened late. The menu from Smoky Mountain looks good at great prices. The 3 different sauces look good and I like cilantro. The more cilantro the better 👍. I don't taste the soapy taste. I never had a chimichanga. It looks good. I will have to try it sometime with steak and shrimp. Matt's burrito is stuffed and looks delicious. My go to Mexican dish is usually seafood enchiladas. All this food from Smoky Mountain Burritos looks so good. Horse chata. LOL. 😂 I have had Horchata before and it is good and refreshing. Great video review.

Ugh, connection issues, I keep losing my comment..Try again!! Soap gene here, just the word cilantro used to turn my stomach…I can now tolerate and almost enjoy it when used with restraint as an ingredient…I always request “no cilantro “ when ordering Mexican, Indian,Asian food which usually translates into “do not garnish “ I believe I may have been consuming culantro on several occasions THE NAUSEA IS/WAS REAL. I do love me an occasional carnitas chimichanga with maybe a little guacamole, cheese, sour cream, jalapeño …no rice or beans in there I hate the combination of textures. Definitely prefer really authentic tacos, a rarity around here, less is more. Thanks for another great video. 👩‍❤‍👨🐶♥Cilantro is very good for our health, particularly women. Kudos for learning a second language…an unexpected benefit is becoming more proficient at one’s native language

Thank you for watching and the very thoughtful comment. I think I read somewhere that cilantro cleanses the body of toxins such as heavy metals but not sure if that is true or not. I agree the squishy bean and rice texture is not for everyone. You are right that learning another language also helps you be more proficient at the primary language. I love cilantro so I'm glad it doesn't taste like soap to me! We're glad you enjoyed the video and we hope you have a great weekend!

I'm (this is staci) not sure the viewers always understand just how spicy some of the things Matt (and his dad) eat can be....it's pretty wild. I think this case was from the house made hot sauce....he gets a little rosy cheeked with the extreme heat, haha.
