"Kymera" is now called "Trinity" from his last album. The new version rocks. Another song that i THINK it's from Donati and doesn´t appear in any studio album is "The User", from Made in Australia CD. Am i correct?
@mattwalker21 I just think that Virgil plays what he wants. If he wanted to play 4/4 all the time, he would. I've got all the respect for a guy who plays what he wants.
@Khaternal Yea, that's what I mean. Obviously, he can play boring boom-chuck-boom-chuck pop tunes, but when you have such a status like he does in the prog/fusion world, as well as the drum world, why would you bother? Virgil played in that Soul Cirkus band for awhile too, but that didn't last very long until Virgil clearly couldn't take it anymore. I've said it before and I'll say it again: pop music is bad for your health; it will steal your soul.

Kymera is Trinity, but the second song is Alien Hip Hop, not The User... :D

@allmetaliswelcome My guess is that he's more interested in playing the music he wants to play.... and compose what he wants to compose.
