Track 4. .942937 is my favorite. I have a friend who made a tune that sounds like a lot like this. I´d like to know why does Aphex Twin give the track names numbers ?
It could have hidden meanings. If you create a track on software and don't name it it'll probably be assigned random numbers as it's name. It's more likely that he just didn't name his tracks and these are the names. A lot of his songs seem like the type of names you just come up with so you can find it later but don't really put much thought into it, like cock/ver 10.
I recently watched an interview with him and learned that he only sleeps 30 minutes a night, he comes up with his music subconsciously through lucid dreams. That explains why he's been my favorite music artist for the last 25 years and why he calls it Braindance and also why that is my favourite genre of all time. heliosphan is my #1 fave track. it gives me purpose to share this with all the planet aphex children 👽🌏💚🦋
I think the 30 minutes a night was a bit tongue in cheek as he literally wouldn’t be able to function in normal life, but 3-6hrs I wouldn’t put it passed him

Ditto!
How about track 8? Beautiful.
Definitely one of Richard James most overlooked albums. Some of his best early work on here!! Superb
I bought this cd when i was in London 25 years ago. I love it
the first track almost has the same structure as polynomial-c but a lot more smooth and walkabout-sounding.
track 8 is adorable. has been a long time fav.

@33:52 this track is the meaning to life....
My favorite analog bubblebath, by far. 😍
One of his best albums.
Aphex dark ambient is always top notch
.942937 gives me feellings of hope and forgiveness, as if I had been reborn, thank god Richard
The 3rd track is absolute fire.
yep..cold fire
Yah. Lets take the choo choo shoe
Bubblebaths together with ambient works is the best music aphex ever did
Track 8❤ Wow - it's this sort of thing this is how and why he's a fkn Genius👍
It's taken me ages to track this down! Thank you
I've been listening to Aphex Twin for twenty years... I just heard this for the first time -_-

Where has it been my whole life? ;_;
before he was aphex twin he went by AFX and most of his original work was put on vinyl
In an illegal discography download ;)

One of the best aphex work.
4th Track is Beautiful!
Reminds me of where I worked in 1999, when I first rotated this through my playlist.

I had this one on cd. ❤
Great album❤
A classic for me.
.942937 sweet spot

Track 8 is so brilliant
final track (CAT 00897-A2) is the 2nd untitled track on 3.1. and the little part after it at the end is the 3rd track.
Untitled 11 is so scary. It’s barely even sounds like his typical atmospheric work.
I remember buying that shoddy CD from A&B Sound! omg....
I remember buying it from a best buy, of all places. I was like wtf is this? But now I like it. Even the 2nd track. How fucked is that?
pure bliss!
