  • Hey, Y’all!!! In this video, I will be giving you an update and my thoughts on Baby Don’t Be Bald. I picked this product up at my local beauty supply store for $5.99 and I’ve been using it on my 4-year-old’s scalp for about three months. I apply it directly to her scalp 2-3 times a week (as directed on the product). I also make sure to wash and condition her hair once a week. This product states (on the back of the jar) that it does not contain any harmful chemicals and is intended for ages 2 - 100. It contains the following ingredients: vitamin E, lanolin, aloe, vegetable oil, mineral oil, and other essential ingredients enriched with formula 291B.
    Thanks for watching this video! If you found it informative, please give me a thumbs up and please subscribe. Peace… =)

    I had a bald section right above my left ear which made me very, very self conscious. I struggled to conceal it. After about 6 weeks of faithfully applying "Baby Don't Be Bald" to my bald spot, I noticed that new hair had actually begun to grow in!!! That was almost 8 years ago! Now that spot is completely filled in, with no trace of the former bald spot! Praise God!

    This product works! Ladies: I'm almost 50, been natural since 2011. 35 years I was on relaxers. Then, I would damage with a hot iron. Three years ago, I threw out the iron and just kept it braided. I am now rocking my full, thick and healthy natural in 2020. If you feel you have dry hair, seriously, this is a FANTASTIC solution! I use any one of the baby products. I wouldn't lie!

      @@mikalstanley10 I'll be honest: It has helped me with thinning edges and obtaining healthier hair. I damaged my hair about four years ago with using excessive heat and flat iron. I use it and it has helped.

      @@taneekadunn8488 Oh, it helps on the edges! My edges came back something fierce! It doesn't matter which one you choose to use. I am partial to the purple version in the winter and the blue softer cream in the summer. Now, I keep my hair in braids from about March to December, too. I use it when I wear it natural and make sure I fully go through my scalp and edges. My tip is to always make sure to keep your hair fully moisturized and use the product on both edges and scalp. Make sure your stylist doesn't braid tight on the edges. This is just me, because I generally feel pressure around my edges. The product will alleviate the pain and tightness.

    I totally agree this product is amazing. If you use it in collation with African pride moisture miracle leave in conditioner which has coconut and baobab oils the results are outstanding. This combination helps retain the moisture in the hair and scalp which causes the hair to grow too.

    Vitamin e oil is so good for skin! We opened the capsules for my sons face when he had to get stitches. After it was closed and started to heal we used it daily and now it’s hardly noticeable. I didn’t know we could actually buy just the vitamin e oil in stores instead of doing the capsules. At any rate it’s great so I believe it probably helps so much for hair.

    I remember doing my baby sister hair. her hair was very nappy, dry and hard to manage. and my mom would be frustrated with it.
    my baby sister hair always looked unkempt. so I at 15 yrs old and my baby sister 7 yrs old, I began to do her hair for my mom.
    I could braid a 1-2 inches of hair. I would catch every nap & pea of hair.
    I would wash & condition my baby sister hair. I would get royal crown or hair food grease and I would grease her scalp and just message her head.
    I would cornrow her hair, in the back straight up towards the middle, then I would cornrow the front straight back towards the middle too then braid all the braids across.
    her hair was neat, tiny cornrows and greased. she had almost the same style every day. but when I saw what I was doing working I continued.
    her hair began to grow. and I was ecstatic. soon I was able to put her hair in some ponytails. she was happy too. by the time my baby sister was a teen she had a nice doobie past her shoulders at 14 yrs old.
    my formula was wash & condition, blow dry the hair, grease with royal crown hair grease or Natures Own hair food grease(it was green looking), brush & comb hair into cornrows styles and then later on for special events ponytails.
    when you do your 2 yr old hair that reminds me of me of me doing my baby sisters hair.
    I always did my baby sister hair because my mom couldn't take it. and I did my baby brother afro too his hair was rough too and when he saw what I did he began to do the same to manage his hair between hair cuts.

    • @NaturallyTiffany
      @NaturallyTiffany  5 лет назад +1

      I would use a cream in addition to an oil. I like the Shea Moisture Kids Coconut & Hibiscus Curling Butter Cream. The thinning may just be the normal development of her hair. Some toddlers start to lose their hair, then it grows back a different texture (thicker) or color. It's completely normal. =)

    My friend braided my daughters hair few months ago, nothing fancy...I kept it in about 4/5 days...when I took the braids out my daughters hair came out all around her head..edges and all 😞 but then the rest of her hair back and top started thinning too...I'm so devastated..I don't know what to do..I'm gonna take her to a salon but not sure what they can do for a style..I've been begging her doctor to do labs just to make sure it's nothing medical he said its coming out due to stress of style..so far I've been putting Crochet style in her hair and some of her is still coming out...I feel she's gonna be completely bald..please give me any advice you can..what styles do you use for your daughter and what methods do you use for moisturizing..my daughters hair is always very dry

    • @NaturallyTiffany
      @NaturallyTiffany  6 лет назад +2

      Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that. That has to be devastating. My advice is to (like you said) keep her hair moisturized. I use the L.O.C. method. I demonstrate this method at the beginning of almost every style video on my channel. I always start out by spritzing the hair with water, then spraying a liquid based conditioner, then an oil (carrier oil such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, or avocado oil), and finally, top with a cream based moisturizer. Sometimes, I'll use the cream before the oil depending on the oil I'm using. For thicker oils (sealants) such as Jamaican Black castor oil or Wild Growth oil, use your cream first, then oil. I hope that wasn't too confusing. As far as styles go, I would do a very minimal amount of manipulation to the hair. So, this may mean one loose pony tail or afro with a cute headband. Or if her hair has some length, loose twists with barrettes and a headband. Her hair WILL grow back! Keep me updated! (NaturallyTiffany83@yahoo.com)

Stay consistent. I use it three time a week. I wash my daughter hair with shampoo once a month. I really let the products soak in. But other than that if I wash her hair weekly is dries out badly, so I found this work out best for us lol (for the mommy shamers out there). The more I leave her hair alone the better off it is. She’s only 18months. Definitely try.

      My jar says ages 2 to 72. Reagan Sanai and Shea Moisture has some great products for babies. 🙂

      It says on the jar for ages 2 to 99 (at least the old jars did). Maybe do a patch test first.

    Can I use this for my 5 month old baby .?

    • @NaturallyTiffany
      @NaturallyTiffany  6 лет назад +2

      It says it's for ages 2-100 years old on the jar. I wouldn't risk it. I would stick with natural oils and very gentle scalp massages to stimulate growth. Thanks for watching! =)

      Yes ! I use it on my 8 month old it isn’t harmful at all !! It works wonders I don’t know if I’m over excited or not but I saw major growth in 3-4 days

    Does this work on straight hair or white people hair? 😂

    • @NaturallyTiffany
      @NaturallyTiffany  4 года назад +1

      I'm not sure. This product may weight down straight hair because it's a grease. =)

      It says it's for ages 2-100 on the container. Ten months is pretty young. I wouldn't use this product just yet. =)
