      Luís Gândara yeah i know it exist, maybe i will visit it some day, but i didnt know there are altums in it. I watched some videos about this aquarium but none of them showed these altums. So thank you for that :)

    I had wondered how long the original type of fish kept in that tank would last. Most of those tiny tetra's are only good for weeks or a few months. I think they realized in a tank that huge..they wanted more sizeable fish- and longer lived- for the investment. Only- those neon's and cardinal tetras are now food for the Altums!

    For THAT aquarium? They should use 100 -200 Altums. 100 or more of those graceful fish in 40,l000 gallons seem proper Japanese esthetics.

    They might add more fish like Apistgramma's or even Geophagus..some of the hard to get rare colorful types and relatives. Festivums would do well...natural mates to Angels in the wild.
    Looks like 98% of the Cardinals didn't make the 2 year mark. About normal for them in community tanks.
