I retrofitted projectors and led headlight on 2006 Prius. Night and day difference
That's awesome. Headlight upgrade makes it feel like such a newer car. A MUST for a refresh if you love you Prius. These things are amazing.
I just bought 2009 prius here in New Zealand. Im happy I found your channel. awesome man.
Awesome! Thank you! It's cool that my California self made content made it all the way to New Zealand, I'll keep on creating cheers. The Prius is an awesome choice, I love mine hope you have been enjoying yours.
Nice job. Instead of all of that sanding, I used Mothers Aluminum wheel polish with a buffer. Then sprayed the clear coat
That's an interesting method lol, I prefer to use sand paper, but if it worked can't argue with that, thanks for the feedback and checking out my channel / video.
How long does that last before you have to do this again?
How are the bulbs holding up for you? If they're doing well, Can you fix the link for the bulbs please? Thanks!
adjust them, they are way too high! at 23:53 you can see it very well
Yeah it’s clearly
Pointing into drivers faces
Well he feels better driving and that's what matters.
@@benjaminjohnson2848 what matters is not blinding incoming traffic or causing an accident because of that 😂
@thecaristascarchannel9189 I mean, I agree. I was just quoting him with the "i just feel better driving" as his cutoff is 10 feet above the ground.
Every other car on the road has this problem now. It should be a law that if you're going to have led's, then they need to be inspected for proper angle. They can make millions off this lol.
So 2 years later, any problems with the conversion? I had a Toyota service department manager tell me if my car had halogens from the factory that I absolutely could not convert to LED’s… thank you for a great video!
Every other car on the road today, has their beams not angled properly, and they are shining in to people's eyes, creating a dangerous situation for both people. These headlights look like they need to be angled down more. They are shining too high, creating a dangerous situation for drivers.
Looks like I'm gonna have to save the world and adjust everyone's headlights on the road. I been blinded 100 times, now it's time to get revenge.
Lol

Awesome man. I have a 09, and am doing mods. This is greatness!
Glad you like it! That's cool, nice to see others doing simple mods to their Prius that will make driving a better and safer experience. I spend a lot of time in my Prius, that's why I did mods just feel satisfied with my vehicle. Little mods like this can make the already great car way better.
It is adjusted too high.
Why couldn't you spray lens without removing them?
You can if you don't want to spend time removing the headlight buckets, though you risk getting clear coat overspray on your vehicle and that isn't pretty, it leaves a light fog. You can avoid this by taping your car up with plastic trash bags or something else similar. I removed them because I didn't want to risk getting overspray on my car at all, plus with them removed I can spray them in a more controlled environment. Cheers, hope this helps you out.
I have HID lights on my '05 Gen 2, so I can't mod them
to LED .. :(
But, I can clean the outside...
Cleaning up the outside housing will definitely help your light performance / visibility. I'm pretty sure you could still modify the lights on yours even though they are HIDs.
You can, Amazon has cheap halogen bezels and the wiring mod is easy. Search HID to Halogen conversion for gen 2 prius
Was this a simple bulb swap from halogen to led?
Simple switch and plug right? Since you have halogen headlights?
Yes, it's a simple bulb switch, it's plug in and play ready to go!
@@StreetInfluenced
Ah ok.
I unfortunately have the HID headlights so it's not as easy as plug and play.
I'm trying to find a good video on how to go from HID to halogen or LED
It's pretty simple with HID's too, (d2s bulb) just bypass the HID unit and hook into the 12v connection.

2014 Toyota prius led light size if know please respond me
Amerikada yaxşı prius neçəyədir deyə bilərsiz?
😀
Back to the Prius I go!!!!!!
I want to see the interior LED vid....link me?
Thanks for checking out my video and your interest, I'm gonna record the LED interior video as I just finished installing all the LED interior lights. I'll have that video uploaded soon and link you to it of course! Cheers.
need to modify wiring or not ? H4
Volume/ sound?
Does it still work?
Still working fine, great performance, I'm not having any issues with my headlights best mod that I decided to do to my Toyota Prius.
@@StreetInfluenced We will love to hear about your opinion over the time, so I suggests you to keep a fixed post saying something like: "still working perfect in October 22". And try to update it from time to time, at 6 months or an year maybe.
I updated my plug-in hybrid with the latest 20 kWh Nissan Leaf batteries. It's still running strong after 17 years! Incredible!
Your low beam is lightening up the interior of all the parked cars…..😂😂😂😂
Lets blind them oncoming traffic !!
Better to blind then to be blinded that's how I think, I get blinded alllll the time on the freeway or with oncoming traffic, they don't care about me sooooo. HAHA.
@@StreetInfluencedImmature take. Grow up.
@@StreetInfluencedbe better
Sorry you just wasted your money on 1k vs 2k, you'll be doing it again shortly.
Otherwise great job! Just did this with my 08 with HID's (need to order d2s led bulbs which they say don't fit but they do, just need to bypass the HID unit.
Is 2k better? How long does it last staying clear?
@@camposvazquez Yes, 2k is way better, it's a two part catalyzed epoxy like what's used in
factory paint jobs. The only downside is once you activate it whatever you don't use will harden inside the can, try to think of multiple projects to use it up, and of course more expensive than 1k.
You can always polish if it ever yellows. I usually polish after spraying to get a mirror finish.
@@whatsit2ya247 thank you... I plan on doing this project as soon as I order some led head lights
Is there an led headlight set you recommend?
Didn't waste my money at all. The bulbs are going on 3 years now and are super bright. Best bulbs I ever bought.
Both are great honestly.
Dont do this, its not meant for LEDs in that car...the beam pattern is crap
LOL, I can actually see amazing at night, best mod you can possibly do to this car, don't know what your doing to your headlights.
@@StreetInfluenced clearly the beam pattern is bad..its not about how good you can see..its about the traffic going against you Sherlock.
@@rygaros6669 Totally agree. On the test video you can clearly see that the headlights are lighting way too high. On on roof level LOL. Here in Europe police will take you out from the traffic for sure.
@@TheVadnay yeah same, im also from europe
@@StreetInfluenced
Folks are right, at around 24:00 you turned and lights aim inside cars. Too high
