In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Pikeman with a Dash Items focused build! Pikeman is one of the universally most beloved skulls in the game. His unique dash centered strategies give him a very unique flow of gameplay that no other skull quite accomplishes. He's also quite good at a lot of the major archetypes in this game, such as Crit Items and Dash Items. Speaking of, today's run will be focused on the latter! Dash Items are centered around items that activate once you use your dash. This often overlooked archetype by the wider Skul community is very consistent and easy to build thanks to how many powerful items it has in the rare item pool, such as Hunter's Boots, Hidden Dagger, Calvary Decoration, and so on. Pikeman is, obviously, one of the best users of this archetype, so if we can get lucky and get the right items this run can absolutely pop off. So, that's the goal for today, Pikeman and Dash Items. Joined by a very lazy Unknown King, can Pikeman drag him across the finish line to the golden win screen?

Now that I think about it, there's not a Chase Omen, is there?
Is it Deicide? Or is that Hidden Blade?
I kinda just assumed there is an Omen for each Inscription.

Nope, Deicide is Hidden Blade. Lots of inscriptions don't have Omens: Chase, Soar, Fortress, Antique, Spoils, Poisoning, Arson, Stun, Absolute Zero, Excessive Bleeding, Revenge, Relic, Heirloom, Manatech, Heritage, and Treasure.

Also what's your longest win streak?

I upload losses, just not runs that lose before the end game gauntlet. Less run time, people can tell before even clicking the video that something terrible happened and I feel like that ruins it a bit.
As for longest win streak, I don't really keep count. I've done a win streak challenge in the past and can't remember where I got with that, but it was like, not as far as I wanted, not even close. This was near the beginning-middle of the Dark Mirror meta, before 1.8.

There’s no way. This is literally a better run of the exact thing I’m doing right now. Their legendary. Pikeman masterpiece and chase. Only difference is I had to sell sulphide wings. I’m in the 4th stage

What does it mean when you low roll doors?

It's about how many doors you go in before you reach shops/bosses. It's random, and can roll a low amount, high amount, and all in between. The less doors you go into the less gold and bone shards you get, which makes the run much harder, cause less gear and less bone shards you can allocate to your Arachne shrines once you unlock that feature in the DM. It's legitimately the worst thing that can happen to someone's run, and most people are like yourself and never even notice it's happening. It's why I wish South Paw would just standardize the door count somewhere in the middle with little variance.
