If they had imported an H1 to drive in the UK they wouldn't have to worry about damaging any roadside retaining walls because they'd be shitting enough bricks to rebuild them.

Civilians can own a legitimate military built humvee so long as they make modifications (like airbags and other safety measures) to meet the safety and insurance regulations in their state of residence.
