In the first He is taking advantage of Makoto dash (double tap auto parry Makoto slow walk, now tap back while dashing). Or sj neutral axe kick where the game still register you grounded. This will cover forward and back for Oro and Urien unlockables. Also if you press too fast you go up by auto parry (Sean training). Any character that has a normal that can cancel into sj or j can do this as well. But it is too fast. So thanks to parry training on console you can see how the CPU Auto parry.
If you press PS2 you are used to rapidly pressing the analog stick by then because most games requires rotation either l3 or r3. So people were parrying on instinct but couldn't do parrying read.
Mad respect to both players. Tominaga is more calculating, Mimora more impulsive. I'm inclined to think the impulsive approach fits the character's style better, and even if it didn't, it certainly improves showmanship. Even so, I prefer Tominaga's more patient approach. That said, Mimora is TERRIFYING.
Nobody has ever played Makoto like Mimora. He's incredibly unique

Tominaga is overrated, Mimora is alot more entertaining to watch.
