How do you study this? I really need to know. Not necessarily by heart, but to be able to read it

My drama teacher gave this to us as a stimulus - does anyone have any ideas for a performance based on this music piece? I’m thinking some storytelling without any words but could use some more suggestions

    Is this hard to play?

I haven't played piano for years now, but the score looks very easy to me. It might be difficult to learn the score by heart, due to the lack of structure.

I’m an amateur pianist, and only manage to get about an hour or two of practice in each week. I’ve been working on this for three years! The truly tricky thing is balancing the interlocking patterns with your left and right hand on top of one another.

      @@nathan-cone Yup! It's deceptively hard, isn't it?

@@Thirianna It's a bit harder than it looks, as the left and right hand frequently interlock and cross over each other. But the hands individually aren't very technically difficult at all.

It requires that you are able to sight read it at a good tempo to learn it efficiently, if you try to memorize it immediately it can do your brain in.
