Now that I'm confident I understand what I'm expending in calories I feel it's the final piece in the jigsaw on my journey to a lower body fat %. Your content is inspiring!

Great work and accomplishment. My observation is that most of your difficulty with energy deficit and carb deprivation stems from lack of metabolic flexibility, a fancy term for carb dependence. I went keto 32 months ago and now near zero carbs past 3 months. Adapting took about 3-4weeks, but once over the hump, I could water - coffee - electrolyte only fast 3 days in a row with no hit to my weight training. Brain fog turned to ultra sharp alertness after first four weeks. I’m now 66 and sustain pretty close to your final appearance, living on 2,600 cals but under 20 carbs daily, mostly eggs steak, tons of seafood, avocado, strategic nuts. You are a great videographer. Commend your helpful wife.
Yup, I've done Keto and now Carnivore. I find that a balanced diet leads to hunger and energy crashes. Keto and Carnivore~ No energy crashes, no sleepiness during the day, sleep is awesome. It was Carnivore that got rid of my joint pain though after a 9 month hiatus from the gym. I stay very lean but not ripped like this guy but he has inspired me to try it. I think my problem is I've ate at a calorie deficit for far too long.
Amazing results. Took me months and months to get to what you have achieved within 5 weeks. One thing I’ve learned during my cutting phase was to trial different diet and see how my body responses. I’ve also tried turkesterone and creatine, but tbh I can’t see any changes to my body. Btw love the content you post on this channel 👍🏻

Man, I cannot believe it took me until now to find your channel! I'm definitely nowhere near to where you have made it, but I hope one day to be able to create videos at the level of quality you have created and reach an audience that has a similar story to mine. I've recently lost 60 lbs in the past year by lifting weights, walking and tracking my food. I was able to get off my blood pressure medication and acid reflux medication. The only pills I take now are vitamins! I do all the same things you are doing, and I can say IT WORKS! Hitting protein goal, tracking food and workouts, etc. I've def. also had those days where my sleep was impacted because I went too hard and pivoted the same way. Love the journey, man. Excited to continue to follow.

Always better to practice health over image, because it is more sustainable and enjoyable over a lifetime. Such results can be done with love to the body with more patience, but it's still awesome to see how adaptable the body is with "consistency". Great content keep it up.
Great job man! Keto is tough. When you're at a higher body fat percentage you don't notice the fog/fatigue as much, as your body has a lot of fuel it can pull from. Once you get to the lower body fat percentage is when you really notice the fog, and especially the fatigue. Keto helped me lose 43 lbs. But I too had to ditch it and increase my carbs mostly due to fatigue. I keep my carbs to about 200g/day now and since then I've put on about 10lbs. but I've noticed my strength improve and my workouts are way better and I'm making better gains. But I did the same as you after getting off it. I stopped tracking my food intake and just ate whatever. LoL

Hey man, awesome job on getting through this. You're obviously not a mesomorph, but the amount of muscle showing is pretty impressive considering the cut you went through. I bet if you went on a 100-200 calorie deficit when around 10-12% body fat you'd look pretty impressive. I love the way you set goals and achieve them and honestly that's way more important then a fitness influencer posting their shredded 8% bf all year round absolutely jacked physique. That's way more inspiring and is absolutely needed in this body positive society we live in. I don't want to go on a political rant about the cons to pros ratio of the whole love your obese body, but just know that what you are doing is important in a lot of aspects, the most important one being you and making yourself better. Keep on rocking my man, keep on setting goals and crushing them.

I really recommend getting a "smart scale" I got the Mi Body Composition Scale 2, it syncs with apple health so I just update my weight every day without having to think about it. The only thing I have to do is have the app open while I'm weighing myself.

Lost around 55kg was super overweight, now I'm 90kg and cannot get lower than this. I workout Monday, Wednesday and Friday with weights, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday cardio, usually assault bike or jogging. Steps im at around 18,000 a day since during workouts I never rest and continue to walk between one set and another. I'm really confused, made such great progress and I work very very hard, but cannot get to 10% definitely, I think am around 22% and best I was maybe was at 20%. I feel discouraged and want to leave everything since this is really mentally putting a huge stress and I cannot take it anymore. Great progress I know was waist 48 now I'm waist 33, but still far away from my dream physique I need help. Great inspiration BTW and you really made an amazing progress.

i agree with you on keto. it's effective for quick weight loss especially for those who are obese. but to sustain that kind of diet indefinitely is insane.

Your Long hard building muscle journey paid off -- then you pushed it up to the next level by working even harder for 5 weeks , proved , you can do amazing things, Most important point you accomplished this Naturally, This has helped me make some decisions and stay that much more focused, Handle my intake, work hard, and be patient, Hey great job on the music, P.S. the volume on the music was just right.
I've lost 150lb fat and gained probably 25lb of muscle over 7 years, and I cannot convey how the mental aspects of both the process and result are so much more intense than the physical.
What I find is you can maintain a leaner physique than you think you can. But you go far beyond that point in the pursuit of bodybuilder shredded. I found I could have maintained an 8 pack at around 7% body fat, but went for 5% and ended up rebounding. But I currently sit at around 9% body fat with the bottom separation covered in fat, but libido and sleep and leptin levels are amazing.
This is so inspiring. I’m also trying to hover in the low 160s but drop my body fat percentage. Can I ask how tall you are? I’m 5’8 and just curious what 160ish looks compared to your height.
The editing is excellent in this great work mate and good that you stated how you were aware that the calorie numbers given by fitness can be inaccurate did you track a step count? Or was it just the cardio you stated.
Amazing transformation and pure dedication!! If you don’t mind, can you shows the Apple Watch calorie and my fitness calorie data over the 5 weeks as a comparison. Since one of your objectives was to put the Apple Watch through its pace.

Great job man! Keto is tough. When you're at a higher body fat percentage you don't notice the fog/fatigue as much, as your body has a lot of fuel it can pull from. Once you get to the lower body fat percentage is when you really notice the fog, and especially the fatigue. Keto helped me lose 43 lbs. But I too had to ditch it and increase my carbs mostly due to fatigue. I keep my carbs to about 200g/day now and since then I've put on about 10lbs. but I've noticed my strength improve and my workouts are way better and I'm making better gains.
But I did the same as you after getting off it. I stopped tracking my food intake and just ate whatever. LoL

Hey man, awesome job on getting through this. You're obviously not a mesomorph, but the amount of muscle showing is pretty impressive considering the cut you went through. I bet if you went on a 100-200 calorie deficit when around 10-12% body fat you'd look pretty impressive. I love the way you set goals and achieve them and honestly that's way more important then a fitness influencer posting their shredded 8% bf all year round absolutely jacked physique. That's way more inspiring and is absolutely needed in this body positive society we live in. I don't want to go on a political rant about the cons to pros ratio of the whole love your obese body, but just know that what you are doing is important in a lot of aspects, the most important one being you and making yourself better. Keep on rocking my man, keep on setting goals and crushing them.

I got the Mi Body Composition Scale 2, it syncs with apple health so I just update my weight every day without having to think about it.
The only thing I have to do is have the app open while I'm weighing myself.

Lost around 55kg was super overweight, now I'm 90kg and cannot get lower than this. I workout Monday, Wednesday and Friday with weights, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday cardio, usually assault bike or jogging. Steps im at around 18,000 a day since during workouts I never rest and continue to walk between one set and another. I'm really confused, made such great progress and I work very very hard, but cannot get to 10% definitely, I think am around 22% and best I was maybe was at 20%. I feel discouraged and want to leave everything since this is really mentally putting a huge stress and I cannot take it anymore. Great progress I know was waist 48 now I'm waist 33, but still far away from my dream physique I need help. Great inspiration BTW and you really made an amazing progress.

What I find is you can maintain a leaner physique than you think you can. But you go far beyond that point in the pursuit of bodybuilder shredded. I found I could have maintained an 8 pack at around 7% body fat, but went for 5% and ended up rebounding. But I currently sit at around 9% body fat with the bottom separation covered in fat, but libido and sleep and leptin levels are amazing.

The editing is excellent in this great work mate and good that you stated how you were aware that the calorie numbers given by fitness can be inaccurate did you track a step count? Or was it just the cardio you stated.
