Hello, I connected the AP with an ethernet cable to a POE switch. The AP is unreachable. Nice tutorial but only if you have an additional powerplug that is not in the cisco box.
Nobody sets them up this way. They're meant to be used with a PoE switch. You don't even have to be on the same VLAN to configure it (assuming you're on a Layer 3 swtich with routing enabled). Just look at your DHCP server to see what IP it was given and you're ready to go. After you factory reset it, has a simple wizard that walks you through the entire process. You'd have to be a moron to mess it up. It literally took me 5 minutes to get it fully functional right out of the box without reading instructions.
