Happened to my first Velobuild as well, with the vibration the compression plug lost its tension and the top cap started to pull it up. Now I use some threadlocker on the bolt to make sure it stays put
Turns out Paris was pulling the stem up to try and get more space for the cables when packing the bike away, but ultimately it shouldn’t have come up too much! We corrected it and I’ve told her she has to undo the top cap completely and take the bars off from the stem.
Sometimes the AirTag will connect and then disconnect it will then show as where it was last connected. Maybe when the signal came back on landing it jolted it to connecting and then went again! Or maybe it’s something else 😅
@boyhoy1978 we've been tracking it for the last 4 days and its been moving around Palma airport :) haha Its on one of the luggage trolleys we think. The case was zip tied closed so we think they must have dropped it, and SOMEHOW the only thing to come out was the airtag!!! Crazy really.
@@thewattlife well at least you can track that trolley to pass the time. Tag doesn’t work on the bike but does on the trolley, classic 21st century tech hahaha
Look beautiful! Got the Winspace with the integrated cockpit as well and looking for a bike box right now. What was your experience with that box? Did you have to disconnect the brake hoses?
So when I built my bike I knew I was going to need to remove the bars, plus there was always the chance I would end up swapping out the frame so I made sure the hoses were left long. This means removing the bars isn’t a problem. I don’t know why bike shops don’t leave the cables long for this reason
@@thewattlife Sweet, thanks for the reply! Did the same thing on mine, but haven't tried taking off the bars yet - good to know that this actually works
You can kinda see how I packed mine up in the video- my bike box is quite old now but still no problem plus a load of kit in there too. Hope that helps
Ready for Paris’ channel!
Amazing ride! Favorite part is “Not sure how high the climb was” with the elevation sign in the BG 😅
Lol im an idiot
nice trip! Looking forward to seeing results and data from Sa Calobra. Have a great one (if it's not already completed. Ah, it is!)

Paris seems like a laugh. Great video, a cycling Aussie thinking about a cycling holiday in Spain.
Ha she can be- just make sure she’s had enough coffee
GREAT VID!!!! - I liked and subscribed (to Paris's channel ... she's hilarious)
What a fantastic adventure and experience! Enjoy :)
I dream of doing Sa Calobra one day. I hope to see you doing it in the next video. Good job
Top coffe-shop-service!
Cycling planet was amazing. Great sandwiches too. 100% recommend

Did you meet Boston terrier at bike shop
Unfortunately not. Hoping to go back soon though
Not us arguing over who those girls shouted at “IM THE FIT ONE”
You are the fit one
That Bianchi stem needs flipped 😂
It’s a gorgeous bike other than the funny stem!
It’s MY-ORCA, not ME-ORCA!
My bad
Posh trip
