Know of any new crossovers in the works? I'm running class 1/2 3ish rivers. The rec kayaks aren't playful enough and river runners are to slow in the flat sections of the river. Doing 7hr trips in my elise shole 100ne a pelican clone. I didn't much like the dagger axis felt more like a canoe but it has the speed. The katana is nice but expensive plus no speed tests data to see how it keeps up with longer kayaks in the group. A 12f katana with front bulkhead would of been cool maybe I should be looking at the liquid logic stinger xp for a fast but playful boat for long multi day trips.

Thanks for this review of the Rewind. Everyone loves these… hard to find one to buy these days.
How does it surf? (on river waves) Can you correct it if it starts to peel off downstream? Can you spin it when planning? Does it plane very well?
