The dog did an initial sniff of the bear, but at 1:02 she is holding the leash to force an interaction that the dog’s body language says it did not want. Pulling back against the collar, while she pulls forward and up with the leash, the dog is trying to make a submissive role not to interact. Even the dog knows this isn’t someone to interact with, contrary to what the walker is trying. Smh.🤦🏼‍♀️

Yesterday I saw a person stalking a deer in a traffic circle to get a snapshot. How stupid do you have to be to not realize that when you get close the deer will bolt away, right into traffic? We humans have a responsibility to wildlife.

Maybe she doesn't speak/understand English. A very common occurrence in Vancouver.

I live in bear country, give them some respect by staying back and letting them move through. I hope she was given a huge fine, not likely but should have been done.

I can't imagine a scenario that I would be stupid enough for someone to have to warn me not to go near a bear, moose, cougar etc , can't cure stupid can only medicate it.

I once warned friend to stay away from a burning building but he just had to go over and look when all of a sudden the same thing affected him when absolutely nothing happened!

By keeping “a few meters away from the bears”. I think she means like 100-1,000 meters. lol 😆 😅😢

She is an irresponsible dog owner & she put her dog at risk -- and the bear too
Poor dog having to live with her

Yes! Dogs and bears do not mix and the bear could have killed the dog. Why that woman did that is probably just ignorance. They could have been attacked.
