@@timothystravels Thank you for replying to my comment I appreciate it. I was wondering as the website I've been looking at for Hyde Park Lane have suites advertised aswell as apartments and villas but the photos for the suites look the same as the apartment you showed in your video which kind of confused me I'm not sure whether to book the suite if it's not going to be the same as it.
@@brionaclinton6800 I noticed on Jet2 website that they only list the rooms as suites or the villas. you could call it a suite but to myself it was more of an apartment, entrance through a patio door to the living area with the kitchenette partitioned off with sliding doors, seperate bedroom and separate bathroom. The villas do look lovely though. If you are after a suite, La Geria has some and they are really good
@@timothystravels Thank you Timothy I'll also have a look at the La Geria but would you recommend the Hyde Park Lane overall as I'm considering booking it for this September? My only other concern would be the distance to the main strip is it far away from it as I'd be self catering with a toddler just hoping there's enough shops or places to eats within a reasonable walking distance to it?
@@brionaclinton6800 It is quite a walk to PDC strip and a little hilly. You can get a taxi from reception and it's about 4 Euro to the strip. There's a few restaurants and a Spar nearby but again it's a bit of a hill back up to Hyde Park. There's another video on my channel about it's location and distance to the beach. I liked Hyde Park but probably wouldn't stay there again due to it's location and my wife has walking difficuties. Our favourite place to stay is Las Gavitas in Matagorda (block 2), booked there again for August. I'm off to Corfu for a week at the beginning of May so will be uploading some videos of that. Hope my comments has helped you!
Is the place disabled friendly?
It is, there are ramps up to the restaurant etc. It is up a hill so that could be a bit of a challenge. My wife has mobility issues and uses a stick to walk and was fine around the apartment grounds. I do believe they also have some adjusted apartments/bungalows. Hope this helps
How steep is the hill ,we just came back from staying at Cinco plaza and the hill killed my feet and legs ,husband had a scooter so he was fine .
@@juliefaulkner9598 Not as bad as Cinco Plaza. There's another vid on my channel which shows it as I walk from the apartments done to the beach - ruclips.net/video/De0ro-PF6bA/видео.html the hill from by the shopping centre (where the Spar store is) is worse and my wife struggled
