When you throw a boomerang, it comes right back to you. That might help you understand this saying: What goes around comes around.

When we say, “what goes around comes around,” we mean that actions have consequences. So, if you behave in a bad or dishonest way, something bad or unpleasant might happen to you later.

Here I think 'brought in' is wrong.
It would be either "brought" or "bought."
Bringing in means earning something.
First meaning according to my dictionary, it's bring.
The nurse brought in an ECG machine.
Your example is good too but not the first meaning.

He brought muffins in to the office. "Brought in" is a phrasal verb with a slightly different meaning, as John-Luke pointed out, but in this case it is a simple verb, meaning to carry something in to a place,
