I traveled on the CMA CGM PUGET cross Atlantic 2017 . 45 days. Lived in owners cabin as well..ur ship seems much more updated, so be happy! It's definitely a different way to go. Food was great. Crew fantastic, I played much ping pong with them . Captain very cool as we're the officers.
You have no idea how helpful this was, I'm making a model container ship and it's so difficult to see the materials the interior should be constructed from. Thanks for the vid mate!

A very rich accommodation. Haven’t seen so much woodwork on any cargo ship. Wish it would have been more slower to see all of it. The owner did have some taste in providing a better accommodation for the hard working crew onboard.
Thanks for interesting video - looks like a very pleasurable way to travel! (The kitchen on a ship is called the galley!) Oops further on in the video I see that you know that!
I have seen a few videos of cargo ships living quarters and yours is by far the nicest I have seen! You actually have a queen bed along with a ton of space and nice sliding glass shower! Plus your own patio! You are living good for a sea fairer!
Great tour- All these giant ships, even though they’re container ships, could put a little effort into making the swimming pool attractive instead of some crazy holding tank for a sea monster lol 9:59
Very nice accommodations! I never realized that the ships were this nice! I guess I have seem too many nave ship movies! I am surprised how few people you encountered during the tour!
My office is considering going work from home permanently. If we do (and if I can find an affordable hot spot that will work.) I'd love to do one of these long trips. Particularly the private deck area is really tempting.
People go on cruises on container ships. Much cheaper than a commercial cruise, though I guess lack of entertainment is the reason it's cheap. I'd love a cruise on a container ship.
I appreciate the video however please slow down next time so we can see the whole scene without feeling like we have to start running too. Thank you for sharing look forward to another take BUT SLOWER
Loved your video!!! Dont take notice of the haters, you cannot make everyone happy. Just wanted to thank you for your video, i enjoyed seeing everything. Take care.
if you would have just searched the name of the ship, you'd have found out in less time it took for you to write your comment that the ship was built in 2006.
Did I hear the word “Basement” while you’re on a ship? Also, those “Bar” things on the doors are known as “dogs”... you’ll find them on doors going to the outside... they are to help maintain watertight integrity and not so much to keep out pirates. Water is far more dangerous to have inside a ship than a few starving African pirates.
Actually this ship looks very nice. Roomy cabins. Better looking than on many cruise ships. Even a huge balcony. What's not to like? Tasteful interior. I might consider this. How do you get a ride on this ship?
Tim, thanks for posting. I went through most of the comments so I won’t ask question you've answered multiple times. Lol. I know a lot of people give you crap, but I appreciate you posting this. If I watched enough videos then I can piece stuff together. I never would have expected a swimming pool. Did you get to see the safe room? What were you told about it? Why did you travel on this cargo ship when it's more expensive and slower than any other means of transportation? I think it could be neat to experience, but a cruise ship has so much more and is less expensive per day? And why do you answer from two different RUclips accounts? (Lol). I'm just curious about those questions so if you can find a little time to answer I was greatly appreciate it. 🙏

yes I did get into the safe room, it wasn't much to see, its just that - a safe room.. The cruise was about the same price as a conventional cruise, but this is what I wanted to do, and yes I have 2 accounts.
@tjc Thank you for that. What if anything would you do differently? I, for one, can completely forgive the camerawork, because you covered a tremendous area in a short period of time = high information density. I have a question about the owners deck. Can Shareholders that own a high percentage of shares of the company go on that deck or is it only for the CEO.
Hi! Very interesting video! I am planning to move from the US to Spain and I was thinking of doing it by cargo ship. Are there any luggage limitations? We are two and we want to take maybe 3-5 boxes with books, photos, some clothes and shoes, and small things with rather emotional value; no furniture or big stuff. Is the luggage charged extra? Thank you and good luck!

😂😂😂😂

Tjc Happy to here.
Great! I was wondering wether to apply for a cadet, and your video answered crucial questions that were torturing me.
Great video! Even made it feel like I was actually on the ship with how fast you were moving the camera.

If u watch it in silent mode, looks like a horror movie unfolding.😃
With Valak on the stairway
oh god its so true
especially for how it ends. What was in that room? Why did they kill him?
Thanks for the quick tour. Very spacious all things considered.
A very rich accommodation. Haven’t seen so much woodwork on any cargo ship. Wish it would have been more slower to see all of it. The owner did have some taste in providing a better accommodation for the hard working crew onboard.
You need to close all doors quietly. There is ALWAYS someone on a ship trying to sleep!

^ my thoughts exactly.
Those "owner accomodations" are crazy, what the heck? A patio and everything?
experiment506 yea, really nice. I had the entire F Deck to myself!
I work at the container pier in Halifax. Cool video
Thanks!! My cruise was actually delayed from departing Halifax due to a broken gantry crane.
Thanks for interesting video - looks like a very pleasurable way to travel! (The kitchen on a ship is called the galley!) Oops further on in the video I see that you know that!
I felt like I was sneaking around in places I shouldn’t be 🤣
Your allowed to along as your not caught i work on a cargo ship as a merchant i walk around but ex the ships so big that i can hide from everyone
Yeah, this video reminds me of playing various Splinter Cell games and sneaking around on big ships.
Awesome everything so clean
what an internal show of the ship video beautiful in your channel a hug from Italy
I really wouldn't mind living there for a few months.
Looks fun doesn’t it? What a life that must be.
What a cool video. Must be interesting to be on these cargo ships for months.

These ships are cool, especially the spiral staircase... you can play table tennis by yourself, just fold up the other table to a vertical position.
didn't think of that, i guess you could though

Ok Boomer. Dont complain about nothing. Just lower the speed to 3/4 or 1/2, so much easier.
Dick Fitswell: Shut up, idiot.
Awesome and amazing 👍👍

Garden of Eden thanks👍🏻👍🏻
From the typical ceiling cladding, flooring and name tags the ship looks made in 80s but also looks well maintained.
if you would have just searched the name of the ship, you'd have found out in less time it took for you to write your comment that the ship was built in 2006.
80s or 2006,it is still a very big difference compared with the ships built lately in China/South Korea. They don't care about the crew anymore.
@@bjornegan6421 it looks made in the 80's though
Maybe you could move the camera more quickly.
That way we cant see anything .
Good to see him at least asking permission to film, on the fly...
tx for the video my friend!!! :D
Pro videographer tip: try to move the camera around as much as possible so the viewer can’t focus on anything you’re recording.
that was my goal! thanks!!
And not puke
imagine being the only other passenger cabin, and this is what you get to travel with. Ii feel like I have contracted a neurosis just watching this

What a luxury life
Thank you Sir...Nice video and info...

Bloody hell. Interesting, but like watching someone desperately trying to find the toilets, before they shit themselves!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMFG. Great

Do ordinary seamen have to share accomodations? ( As anyone who's been in the U.S. Navy knows, junior enlisted have a common berthing space )
smoothjazzaxe Im not sure, but I dont believe so.
On a merchant vessel, 9 out of 10 times you have your own cabin. As due of regulations.
Youre a bit noisey around the crew decks. Enjoyed the video.
Good thing no crew left their diary out. Would have been irresistible.

joe buehler Halifax to Charleston SC. 10 day cruise.

The cost is a per night cost. Doesnt matter where you get on or off. I think it was @100 euros per night. All inclusive.
I didn't realize these ships took passengers. How did you get on?
