Fantastic models and possibly the most realistic coaching lighting yet, with internal detail worth lighting up. Bravo Accurascale at £45 a coach (for comparison unlit Hornby Mk3 - £40 or Bachmann DCC lit Mk2f for a bonkers £95). Layout looking great and this TPE rake with the 68 looks right at home. Thanks for uploading, all the best, Colin
Hi Colin, yes they really are fantastic models, very glad I managed to get a set, Accurascale seem to outshine all other model companies for price and quality. Glad you like the layout too! Cheers Reggie
@@brayworthpark5542 Must admit, once I found out about them, I was quick off the mark to get Hunt couplings, but do have a few mixed experiences - magnets pulling out, couplings pulling out of the NEM pocket, etc. On some 'trains' I have - 100-tonne TEA wagons for example, I've a few superglued into place! Love the convenience even if HoG is required!
@@alantoms3263 Hi Alan, Yes I agree they have some drawbacks but compared to tension lock they are brilliant. I think I will get some of the new hornby ones to try, they look a lot better than hunt couplings.
Yes - there will always be someone trying to make a quick profit - unfortunate for the people who really wanted them but missed out. Yes I would wait too!
An excellent looking model thankyou for the tips and video
Thanks Mark, yes they are great models, appreciate your comment.

Hi Reggie, love the TPE set and the packaging. Susannah
Hi Susannah, Yes, me too really pleased with the set, as usual top quality from Accurascale. Reggie
Look really good, really tight on those bends though
Thanks, yes it is very tight on the bends - but seems to work with the Hunt Couplings
Interesting option for the coupling from 68 to the Mk.5's.
I've tried Hornby Rocos, but sort-of working similarly.
Hi Alan, yes I find the Hunt Standard Couplings work well, not tried Hornby Rocos.

@@brayworthpark5542 I was thinking that just recently as well. Hunt coupling have supposed to have developed - perhaps not as obviously 'printed'.
Hi reggie, nice running session and the tip for couplings I see you were using hunt’s we’re they close, intermediate or standard ones cheers Al
Hi Al, Thanks for your comment, The Hunt's are the standard ones, I think the others would be too close. Cheers Reggie
Or bidding at £335 on ebay! A day to go. Cheaper to wait for next release I think.

@@alanrobertson9790 That's a crazy price!
