I use two leap spells. You can use a multi-leap spell after a leap spell of less amount. So I use a one-leap and then a five-leap named Unholy Scream as it is what happens to me every time I fall into the sea. It's pretty great for air stalling and getting a last bit of height when it comes to platforming

as an ash user, this is actually a tactic. Ash makes damaging clouds and i basically have a flamethrower of ash that leaves clouds absolutely everywhere which is extremely powerful on over-sea battles because i can just cover both ships with ash and they will start taking 25 damage every 1/3 sec so that automatically makes them have to abandon ship and either drown or die to the ash, unless they can kill me within a certain time frame. I also have magma so if my ship gets sunk, i can make lava platforms on the water and ill literally never drown.
Personally I go for 70% size on my self explosions; it doesn’t change the size that much and it does more damage so yea. Also I like using two leaps to have some MoE for when I am climbing walls, combining super jumps and wall super jumps to get higher and using the leap to assist the climbing. I liked most of the spells though, pretty much exactly what I use. I also use a blast spell with 4-6 shots & drill shape at 20% great for getting some damage in on targets that like to move.
Tips: - setting the cast style as two hands swipe will actually shoot 3 spells at once but even if you do it with 1 amount it still looks cool - setting hammer for explosion will make the aoe huge as heck, like im not even kidding that size can hit from so far. Plus if you add shockwave type you can see how big it stretches out, at least for abstract magic. Note that it takes away a considerable amount of dmg you can output, it probably does 30 dmg less than your blast but im not sure since i use phoenix blast. - For me aura are really really useful especially for my build. Example if ur like me with a pure power build u end up with 900 hp which is not that much, but if you use resistance it bumps up to 1.2k (maybe if you got intensity it could add more but I'm not entirely sure what it does). You can also use a slow shape or magic (maybe even max size pulsar but I havent gotten that yet) then use speed aura and it will go real fast or maybe its just me since i got 60 attack speed. Basically you can use auras to make up for the things you lack for 40 seconds. - Beams are extremely useful for some magic. Example light, it can slightly blind people but if you hit it multiple times it stacks. Pair that with wide stance/two hands/ two hands swipe casting style and multiple beams, now ur a human machine gun but with instant flashbangs for ammo. You can also use metal because I dont think the decrease in damage will affect it that much and u can shred someones hp instantly (speaking from experience in the receiving side) Edit: ok so i just got clapped by a guy like a day ago so the trustworthiness of my words took a nosedive, but if anyone still believes me i still got one last tip: Indeed u can choose about any magic you want at the start of the game, but if you are going to be a class that gets two magic as its awakening its best that you check out the trello and take a look at every magic interaction with ur magic so that if ur not going meta combos you dont choose the wrong one (dont be like me that chose shadow and light because it sounded cool to later find out they debuff each other)
5 leaps can be useful in non combat scenarios like climbing the stepstones because you can start climbing, press t and leap to be able to start climbing again without losing height
I have two blast moves, one with 3 hits and the other with just one. I also have two explosions, a singular placed explosion and one that goes 2 times in a bigger radius (not sphere or pillar I forgot the word) and its all pretty good

Ngl you should always have self explosions on 2 amount, since it'll be hard to dodge the second hit for both players and npc's with the only notable npc's to dodge it being bosses after frostmill
I have a blast spell with 20 projectiles, but it's not a combat spell, but in fact a utility spell. The spell is used to bridge across the ocean when I can't be buggered using my ship. It is one W with being ice.
You can have 1 High leap and 5 low leap and gain 180% height. (Because the game will only allow 1 + 4 for some reason.) This count also applies to second magic so it doesn't work. They share the same count of jumps.
It allows 1+4 because its equal to 5. U cant have more than 5. But u can split leaps. However u cant use high leap after using the small ones. So remember to always use high leap THEN small leaps
If you have a large AOE magic like water or metal, doing a duration 5 shockwave ultimate explosion is really good for pvp. If it all hits it could do 500 damage with high power
please use this only if you really have no idea what youre doing or use this video as a BASIS. please do not follow this guys settings 100 percent because theyre most likely not going to fit you.

If you want and you're able to get bursting (I mean a shit ton of it) you can lower the blast size to deal more damage and still has a massive range attack (I think)

The spread on blast kinda sucks though. Nice for crowd control, but not optimal for single targets. I got one of both. Though I do max duration for beam, very powerful
i messed up my whole build i was going for like weapon strength but i upgrade magic and vitalitythen i got level 81 and couldnt reset shit so i just go all in on weapon now im a warrior and im a magic disabled mfs

Well, the amount of blasts can actually be beneficial for one (and another) magic. Light and Dark. Both have a blinding effect and I've won multiple fights mainly because I've blinded my enemy. Is great. Doesn't work on npcs, unfortunately.
Good thing about light and shadow for pve is that they by default have good attack speed so for them you mostly need to focus on Power so you would be able to deal damage(mostly for light,shadow's default damage is ok)
@@skell6134 Would Shadow be any good for conjurer? Imbuing magic in a weapon makes it deal less damage, and Shadow doesn't have any damaging status effects to make up for it, not to mention it doesn't have any effect on NPCs.

Can you explain why 20% is at all worth it on any magic? With beam I feel as if youre landing it based on the AOE from hitting ground more then actual aim and I feel like movement is important so a 20% beam is awful from what ive tested

@@skell6134 Size affect how large your attack hitbox hit your target directly - Size stats in Fighting Style and Magic doesn't affect the attack dmg Explosion Size - This affect your attack destruction effectiveness on terrain and structure. The higher setting the bigger Destruction as well the Splash DMG radius of attack. Lower the Explosion Size will also lower Size of attack yhus smaller direct hit hitbox, destruction effectiveness but increase good amount of dmg of attack
idk bro when i tested it, 1 single sphere explosion deal around 130-140 damage, but when i change the amount into 5 it deal 40-50 per damage x5 which is around 200-250 so i preferred all 5 for explosion type magic in any elements
On discord, someone recommended to use 3 explosions so enemies don't escape easy while maxing out damage. I'd try that if you can't get all your damage out

The game doesn’t tell you this, but the smaller the attack, the more damage it deals. It also doesn’t tell you that the more attacks you have your spell do, the less damage each individual hit does. It’s not an even split, so there is a sweet spot in the middle somewhere (2/3 works pretty well for me) where you’ll be able to do a bit of extra damage and not be left as wide open.
Less attacks = more individual damage. Although having more leads to bigger damage if you can hit them all, it might be difficult to land every hit. But you can aim while casting the spell to get some damage in still.

You can do that without any skill by using shift lock and sticking your camera against the wall
Another thing to try is to use attacks to break the wall (if it's breakable) to create a small hole you can stand in to regain stamina
if you have bad aim use shockwave on explosion, you will ALWAYS hit your move i am not joking

Having two laser beams makes it have less aoe but slightly higher damage and two laser beams would shoot at the same time
I use glass, and I have the highest amount on blast, it's not really meant for damage I use it to cover the battlefield in glass for bleeding

iirc blast and beam lower size actually makes them cast faster, with the lower explosion size being the increase in damage

My magic is 232 and the ultimate art for blast does around 300+ dmg with 1 hit, meanwhile the 20 hits can go up to 750+ or 800 if all of them hit lol
that's if all of them hit, against bosses you're gonna take a lot of damage and in pvp it's impractical that each hit will land

Nah most times the move only hits once and is very unreliable hitbox-wise. Set it to 2 and it only hits once dealing half the dmg

And if you prefer that then use it, the reason I recommend using 1 duration is because its easier to hit for the full damage.

From Calvus fight i kinda think that Shadow+Light create Petrify but im not sure how i can get benefit from it if i would be able to apply it like that

not convincing at all why would i need to use less of my attack?
The game doesn’t tell you this, but the smaller the attack, the more damage it deals. It also doesn’t tell you that the more attacks you have your spell do, the less damage each individual hit does.
It’s not an even split, so there is a sweet spot in the middle somewhere (2/3 works pretty well for me) where you’ll be able to do a bit of extra damage and not be left as wide open.
Less attacks = more individual damage. Although having more leads to bigger damage if you can hit them all, it might be difficult to land every hit. But you can aim while casting the spell to get some damage in still.
