Sorry!! I missed this one!! keeping the battery and control board into a 3d printed box will be awesome!! more professional..!! thank you again for these awesome videos and idea...
Awesome project... I will try this with OpenBuilds v slot solid wheel so it can have less wear and tear... rest its perfect!... Thank you
That is a very interesting web page you have with the srolling images over that background. Nice camera slide though, especially adding the remote though I wonder how long the battery will last.
Hi... you can make many shots with one battery,,, i didn't measure it. but i think you can work 2-3 hours with one charge..
This is great!! Thanks for sharing. How long does it take to travel from one side to the other on the lowest speed? I'd like to use this for timelapse photography.
Thanks!
You sir have inspired me to build my own
Very nicely done...question...can you automate this with the remote? I want it to back and forth without having to do this manually
.
hello friend, unfortunately you cannot do that... You can do that only with limit switches directly connected to push buttons on the board
@@EVCustoms Thanks for getting back to me...I love the design...what changes would you suggest to automate this?
grâce a vous et a vos explications et a vos liens d'achats j'ai monté mon slider motorisé ..c'est un vrai plus pour mes times-lapses
Awesome Job. my question is: for a SMALLER project a gopro on a 12 inch platform the motor and controller, is there a parts list for that?
Great vid!
It would be even better if you can make the camera pointing at you while moving!
Truly inspiring, i love your ideas, keep it up and more power...
thank you man.. ;)
looking great!
But how do you recharge the battery?
Regards
Do you know with which controller can program end points? Otherwise I will have to buy like yours and add microswitches.
Tell me please. It’s not entirely clear that power is supplied to the controller 5 volts, but during the test (3:09) on the power supply 12 volts? Isn't that a lot for the controller? Is 5 volts enough for a normal stepper motor to work?
I put together the same circuit. Everything works, but the plug (4 pins) of the stepper motor connection is very hot on the board. Maybe you need a smaller engine, for example nemo 11?
Thanks for the great video. How long does the battery last?
Very nice design. Congrats! Is it possible to connect end switches so that the slider changes direction when reaching the end? Thanks for sharing!
No... Like this you can not change direction then slider reach the end... But you can make some changes to make this mode... Such as putting limit switches on the end of raill, connect them on controller board switch buttons (left direction and right direction)
Just because of this am subscribing quite a shock
Brother may I know what the function of DC DC Step Up Converter USB 0.9V ~ 5V to 5V 600MA DC Booster Power Supply Mini?
Hi... this dc to dc converter is for stepper motor power supply..
Great desingn, very simple. Which is the max velocity you can achieve with it?
With IR control?
Hi, great project. What`s the thickness of the acrylplate? and the size of the extension at minute 6.43 ?
Thanks mate.
Hi friend..
Plexiglas is 5mm.. you mean bolt extension?
@@EVCustoms yes the bolt extension, M8? Can the system be operated by an " ARDUINO " as well, with some modification ?
Thank you and wishing you all the best for the festive season.
Hans
Great tutorial, thank you. What would be the maximum camera-weight this rig could move?
Hello Heinz Ross.. maximum weight for this project is 1.5kg
Thanks for your reply. I want to use a Canon 7D and it'll be more than the 1.5kg.
Heinz Ross On flat surfaces is ok for 7D.. you can put more than 2kg camera..
Hi friend.. for angles this stepper motor (Nema 17 ) is good.. the only problem you will have is this stepper motor controller working only with 6Volts max, motorcycle battery have 12volts,so i would suggest you use simple mobile power bank witch have 5V output on 2Amps..
you can`t have end stops ?
That great. I have question about the battery. Is it ok to use higher mah?
Of course my friend...
Hello can it be installed upside down, on a ceilling ?
this is cool, Do you have STL files for your printed parts ?
Yes my friend i have them, but give me little time to find them for you ok?
Please send me your email
Please i need help thanks.
I bought Nema 17 Stepper Motor Bipolar 2A 59Ncm(84oz.in) 48mm Body 4-lead W/ 1m Cable .
Can i use it by a same controller that used in the video ?
Are you located in Greece??
What do we do for the camera plate? Most people don't have a CNC or what ever machine you used to cut it out
You can do with a saw easily
Do you have STL files for your printed parts
Hello, very nice video ! I wanna ask how did you connect cables to the usb converter... Can you share detail picture or scheme ? Thank you !
Yes my friend.. send me your email or write to my email ev-customs@hotmail.com
@@EVCustoms Hi really very nice your motorization system, I'm adapting it to my slider. Could you also send me the cable connection to the USB adapter? Thank you. I also send you an e-mail
Does the motor have enough torque to move the camera vertically. And if so, what is the maximum weight? Thanks!
For 90 degree vertically only action camera you can move
@@EVCustoms it means the driver is weak. Because your motor 17HS4401 can give a very big torque (about 4.2 kg !!! per cm).
Thank You for the inspiration!
Tolle Projekt das Freude macht (!!!!!)
Great work! How did you mounted the belt to the profile?
Hi friend i think you can se on video...
Half of the time you held it by hand, half of the time with some kind of temporary screw I guess. I don't see how it is connected at the left side. What about the final product?
Just curious.
Write me your email... I will send you pictures ok?
Hello.
Did as you do.
It is very hot and the small chip stinks.
What could be wrong?
Thank.
I tried without load, without a camera.
I tried 4 motors, 4 drivers like you.
Nothing changes. All warm up, burn your fingers. (
How to fix?
Maybe something else needs to be connected?
Thank.
Hmm... How volts and mah you put on your board? Notice max mah is 500-600mah and voltage 6v max .. otherwise your board is problematic...
@@EVCustoms 5 volts, powered by usb
2 amps can not?
Maybe this is the problem?
Yes this is the problem... Put if you have 5v 500mah power supply
Hi there, i buy the Stepper Motor Driver Controller Board Speed - during operation at low engine speeds - the board overheats strongly. Why?
Hi friend... Try to control your power input... Max input for this module is 500mA or 0.5A
@@EVCustoms Hi, thank you for answer. I use poberbank as a power source (5v 10000mah). In this case, you are recommended to use a down converter - dc-dc. To get a total of 5v and no more than 0.5A ?
@@OnTheReview Right my friend...
@@EVCustoms Ok, on you video when using Lithium battery and boost up converter 5 volt 600 mA - does the board not heat up, always cold?
@@OnTheReview The board is on 30 degrees on working mode
Hello! Thanks for sharing this great project... Can you tell me your settings for cutting the acrylic and which emdmill you use? Greetings xflow
Hello friend..! i can send on your email CNC file if you want..
That would be great, thank you! xflow79@gmail.com
@@EVCustoms Hi! Could you share with me the design of the acrylic board? My email francisco.tanajura@gmail.com

Hello
why a stack ..? and how much is his voltage ..? is it rechargeable ..? Thank you for your answers
cordially
Yee my friend is rechargeable battery 16850 lithium stepper board need 5Volts
Hello
thanks for the answer, could you put me a link to buy the battery because I can not find it on aliepress
thanks again
Very nice video thank you for charing it with us my question can use it for my dslr canon ? because dslr more heavy than camera action. thanks
Yes my friend... Slide videos is taken from samsung dslr camera NX1000
@@EVCustoms The Samsung NX1000 is not a DSLR. It's a mirrorless camera.
Hola! Un excelente tutorial!!! Me preguntaba si podrías compartir los planos de las piezas de metacrilato? Gracias!!
También digo lo mismo
is there a way to have a physical button for direction switching?
Yes, on the board...
@@EVCustoms you mean that 4 button?
@@DanDan-li4hr Yes,,,
Hello
thanks for your tutorial, could you tell me the voltage to power the Stepper Speed Controller Motor Controller Controller Board
cordially
Stepper Controller power voltage recommended is 5 Volts max 6V
ok where to ge the transparent pieces? do you sell this ?
prolly too late to respond but those plastic pieces can be obtained by using 1) a 3-d printer service or 2) a local CNC shop
Can other bipolar motors be used in addition to the recommended one? Thank you
Hi of course you can put other stepper motor, depends from the weight of the camera...
I just ordered let's see if I can fit them when they arrive
any news ?
I collected the necessary parts from the link on the page you gave, make that my camera slider. But allows too much vibration to work by my slider. I can't find what I did wrong. Do you have any advice for a solution?
Vibration on lower speeds?
@@EVCustoms yes, speed 1,2, 3 has more vibration... but speed 4,5,6 has low vibration... i mean every spped level have a vibration... by the way my motor and camera bracket is not plexy product, i am using plywood product...
Also my slider doing this on 1-2 speed.. but in my videos i can't see vibrations, only bad noises..
@@EVCustoms maybe but maybe i found a solution with my slider vibration... i'm using too many washers with connections, first of all canceled them and try to clean plexy product with my bracket...
how much is the max load?
so to charge the battery, you plug the usb right??
Yes my friend..
EV - Customs Thank you man!!! It is awesome!!
Is it possible to use a heavy camera on it, for example Canon 5D2?
Yes my friend you can put dslr camera... I already tried with dslr cameras
@@EVCustoms
Thank! Very good idea!
@@EVCustoms can it lift-up DSLR camera (at least 1.5 kg including the lens) when the slider is placed vertically? (vertical move).
I know your motor is powerful but can the driver give enough power output to motor for vertical moving?
For vertical movement no! Is not possible..
@@EVCustoms its very important possibility for slider. Because horizontal movements can be done also with roller slider.
How do i make the gantry stop automatically after it reaches the end of the rails.
Hi,, The only way is to put 2 limit switches left and right sides of rail, and connect them in parallel on play board button...
Other stepper motors can be used with the module "Stepper Motor Driver Controller Board Speed Adjustable"? Nema 23? Nema 17 Stepper Motor Bipolar 2A 59Ncm? Can I ask for exact dimensions of the site for the engine and for the camera?
Yes this board is universal for 2 coil stepper motors, but low amp output from module...
@@EVCustoms Can I ask for a photo of the site for the camera, with the exact dimensions?
Camera dimansions...? Samsung nx1000
@@EVCustoms I have a canon 5d2 camera, can I use it?
@@EVCustoms ru.aliexpress.com/item/Mayitr-1/32881922450.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.60692e0eWjKDKx Such will not be better?
fantastic video, thanks for sharing it
Nice....where i can find this product...
Witch product? Stepper controller? Stepper motor?
How noisy is that motor?
Плата управления для Нема 17 слабая. Я такую пробовал подключать, греется сильно. Она для маленьких двигателей.
Can you make one for me?
Hey can u tell me the name of the 1st song n who made it . Thanks
Hi friend Musik is: Buddha - Kontekst (No Copyright Music)
How noisy is the motor?
Motor is not noisy, but if you run motor on must lower speeds maybe you will have low vibrations...
dop you have motor mount stl? and can you share? :=) ver nice. i will make it. :) thank you..
Hi friend... You mean you need mount bracket of stepper motor? Have you cnc router? If not i will make it for you
yes i need mounth bracket of stepper motor stl. i have 3d printer. i will make it if you share slt. :) thank you for answer. :)

Hello friend,, did not you get it yet? i has sent to you.. i will try one more time..
No way is that 35 bucks.
STARTING Music name?
I was with you until you pulled out the computer and the C&C machine. 😔
Sorry my friend.... :)
thumbs up..but its more than 35$
just produce it and sell for 100 bucks. still cheaper than whsat u can get
loading screen? Are you freaking kidding? lol
You mean charging screen.. ;)
did you waist $35 ?
Impossible build for $35
When you add up all the tools you use it's a hell of a lot more than $35. Although I do have the tools you used most people wouldn't. Be a little more realistic in the future. LOL I would have given you a thumbs up it you didn't say $35 to make. Therefore you get a thumbs down. Overall great video. Good use of materials in a very professional way. but a deceptive click bait title...
it's all crap from china. I'm sick of supporting china, but disgusted with how american products are always grossly overpriced. It used to be that made in america meant quality products. Not anymore. many items sold as american are actually made via outsource businesses. Guatemala, Mexico, china, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, just to name a few. They might be assembled in here, but are actually manufactured and produced elsewhere, not in america.
That’s because if you demand the same quality from American workers, they also expect a decent wage.
Will not watch a 27 minute video with 11 advertising breaks in it, no matter the good reviews.
