some of the hatchets from pvp track are kinda cracked, the pvp rogue perk is like 20 something % idk if you can get both types of rogue or not but they come named so you can upgrade at the gypsum kiln to change 3rd perk to what you prefer
most hatchet users run light. a good GS and medium armor build can easily take them out....what really matters most is the gold/time you're willing to invest on slash resistant armor
Dont think hatchet is broken its just the only weapon to really play assassin, same as when BB, or voltcaster where super meta. They where the best options to do something, in this case hatchet is the only weapon capable of fight voids BbS and rangeds aficiently, thats why it looks broken but if melee had more options insted of none things will ve different
I tested the fire staff artifact, and it feels like it has too much of a drop off in damage with strength. As opposed to one with intelligence, what are ur thoughts?

What would be great is a video that counters the hatchet, since it's absolutely the META weapon in the top 3 builds rn

You can run the two PVP perks that punish empower and haste. Just get a well PVP weapon and upgrade it with the anti haste perk
How the staff is not intelligence damage condition?
The artifact staff can change it's scaling too strength 💪.

odd....shouldn't be the case with 100% str scaling
@Neurotoxus well I belive it's due to abilities doing more damage with int. Because of the attribute passives.

Prerequisite for playing hatchet or blunderbuss (with aimlock enabled for bonus propeler hat) in PvP is having less than 20 IQ.

I find myself not using target lock a lot because the camera gives me the craps.
