Also if you are not all Gorgonned-up yet, the Fire Lord's heavy helm and chest come with Refreshing and Fire Harnessing and can be upgraded at the Kiln :) They come from Empyrean M3... but M3s are an awful experience given lack of reward, so I just bought them with dense mutated material.
That would be 22.2, averaging under 1600. Heavy chest and all medium is 22.3 and is just over 1600! I’ve since kitted with mostly gorgon gear or pieces that have the perks I’m wanting as a set gorgon craft is a 100k craft EASY! Thanks for the info!!

Elemental band is great out of convenience, but honestly on firestaff you can hit empower cap easily without through an assortment of other empowers. This was a common thing before band even existed.
Flame attunement on fire staff is no longer making sense to me. Most of the players are putting pristine ruby in their armors. I think replacing it with any other attuns would be more appropriate. IMO, I would still use empowering fireball..

are you running both of these weapons in gorgon? I know melee weapons are super benefical for stuff like the second boss and the crystals in the first fight. Also, why featherweight over attuned leather pants? I feel like the +45 magnify and the +11 to each stat is powerful.
Totally agree attuned is a great option. I regularly run with groups that are helping others, so staying alive when some go down is key, meaning I want all the health and armor I can, while still keeping 500 int. I think people are so focused on being the #1 dps with almost no con and barely any armor and then complain when they die. I’m still alive dealing dps while the “top” tier players are waiting at respawn
Well so for 2nd boss u can have 1-2Firestaffs u just need to have 3 rapiers at least and Azoth leggings is stronger then attuned and for melee dps its winged leather shoes (but they r 1000x harder to get then attuned leather pants) so melee mostly play attuned

If u r doing pve U can go50 Str 50 dex and 50con because u wearing medium and for pvp u want 150-200con anyway. Lifetaker and voidblade is an antisynergy so U prolly want to use Scream tether Essence and if u do so rune of Helios will be useless since U reached empower cap. Same with tether oblivion the moment U use band and tether u r alr at 35% and Cap is 50. For bis build U could consider Changing ur ur medium Armor for light chestplate from worm because it has keen ON it
Seeing as the keenly jagged has a cooldown, aiming for it to proc is a moot point as you will get that crit pretty often with the fire staff crit upgrades in the tree
If u play Mage u dont use featherweight these days U use the azoth Leggings with medium so 5con easy to Go with as medium even If ur group sucks most success at echidna
i wouldn't say this is "easy dps" considering most of your gear comes from the hardest raid in the game. That being said, with elemental band being disabled, what is something we can do in the meantime? that perk on the gorgon fire staff is amazing but I don't have it yet. Also is there a way you could put all of this into like new world buddy or something and link it so its easier to view?
I agree, which is why I offered alternatives. Elemental band is still decent, but not a must honestly. I need to get into new world buddy for sure. I’ll update once I add it.
@darkenedcyrusgames nice to hear. I can't get my DOTs to do even half of the damage you're doing. I do have Lifetaker but that's it as far as the gear you have. The kiln armor takes so much materia to craft I'm sorta dead in the water doing poop damage atm. What you showcased is insane though, considering ranged dps usually misses out on dmg compared to melee

Well one thing players don't take in calculation, Enchanted ward is not protecting Vs Elemental ability at all , and we know 80% off players has full Enchanted ward. Any BB , Fire staff, or Ice Gauntlet damage will be pure burst on them, if they don't use Opals gems.
I run The Wall which has 25% ele reduction and fire protection on amulet which is another 15% mitigation and 5x ele aversion/enchanted Ward because I have frigid dawn. FIRE STAFF NEEDS TO BE NERFED. It hits unbearably harder than anything else in the game.
Actually there are some abilities and spells that count as heavy/light attack, especially in pve. Use new world buddy and you can check what things count.

Brother I beg you stop light attacking with Firestaff. One of the passives reduces weapon cooldowns on heavy attacks, even if you have refreshing move a heavy attack is faster at resetting your cd's that light attacks. Build is solid though, good work.
Just doing the math and light attacks seem like more dps overall in the end. Am I wrong? If I went heavy only, I’d just change a couple perks to keep mana up on heavy attacks
@@darkenedcyrusgames you still hit the smolder stack cap but each heavy attack removes 1s off the cooldown so you get to spam fireball etc. far far more frequently with equates to more damage overall

ı have got almost done fire mage build. I watched this video for minor detail and get some tips. This video is helpfull for me and ı apperatiate his effort.
138 CON for a ranged medium build seems a little bit overkill for Hive. It's probably fine on the last boss, but on the second boss you can definitely go lower CON to pump out some more damage without any concern of dying.
@@darkenedcyrusgames well 2nd boss is a dps check and from my experience things in that boss fight dont rlly do dmg except the boss if u dont have enough dps and birds stay alive (but if that happens u screwed anyways)

Well… until I see bleed and evade rapiers sitting at respawn because their 8000 health mega dps build and no self sustain and then complain that the tank killed them or the healer (who’s job is to heal the tank) didn’t focus a DE on them.

Lifetaker allows you to apply Disintegrate even when using the fire staff. Disintegrate is both a DoT and a Rend (up to 30%).

Not sure why but the inferno artifact seems to have more of a punch in PVP so I’ve been using it over the hoplite staff. Attunement on both
If you take advantage of the damage inside of 15 meters bump in dps, it definitely can feel great, especially with flamethrower

Is it better to run Con food or Int food? I usually leave my Con at 106, my food gives 44 so i sit at 150 and i can put those other points into Int
Run whatever food gives you the attributes you want! Con food is usually cheaper on my server
it doesnt need a nerf. just a fix. and even w the fix still a good ring element wise.
also unimpeded is good for light players
when it gets “fixed” it’ll be pretty mid af only giving 8-12% empower

If people die as a 16 con mage, it's a skill issue tbh. (attuned pants still ideal)
