I just saw this. And I am a black then lesbian female and I want you to know Superwoman that regarding your response to the #AllLivesMatter and #HeterosexualPride you are totally and utterly right. So many points such as "Be glad that you don't need the hashtag" and that All lives matter steamed from black lives matter as a way to diminish our campaign. I face discrimination systematically and globally for being black than for being gay because black is seen as dangerous due to harmful stereotypes that are presented worldwide. Sometimes I wish it stopped at watermelon and chicken but it's more like sassy, thug, aggressive, and more prone to disrespectful ( and for "shea butter twitter": less beautiful). When people don't account for my ethnicity then being homosexual is ungodly and throw bible quotes and diminish my self-esteem. So yes I attend pride regularly and I march for my brothers and sisters who have been accused in 3 mins of being guilty and shot and killed under the jurisdiction of a beat cop or a neighborhood watcher or a ticket officer. #SandraBland #TrayvonMartin #MikeBrow #TamirRice they never deserved this but this country has again and again proved they aren't fair. You don't just seat in front of a camera and make people laugh (which is a great thing and I'm not saying otherwise) you actually make a difference with your words. the point of "pride" is that the LGBTQ+ community is able to come out and onto the streets and be PROUD of who they are, because the LGBTQ+ community has been oppressed for centuries and we've been disregarded, beat up, killed, called slurs for being who we are. see, pride is not just something gay people invented out of nowhere. it's a result of centuries of oppression. straight people have no reason to celebrate pride because straight people have never been oppressed - they have always been the oppressors. it makes my heart hurt that people don't understand that lgbtq+ people don't do it to be put on a pedestal, we do it to say that hey, we deserve to be regarded as normal humans too and instead of giving into society's malicious attitude towards us, we're going to for once be proud of who we are.
This rant needs to be heard everywhere. She put this issue so good into words i think no one could've said it better. People need to realize that just because we protect or defend a certain group, doesn't mean other groups are neglected or unnecessary

When you said you were gonna rant about something, for some reason I thought you were gonna mention the bombing that happened in Istanbul airport. And how because its a Muslim country, it got no attention whatsoever. No #prayforistanbul, then again thats how it always is. Actually guys do have it unfair in ways that are rarely talked about, or at least I've never seen any big movements about it. I am a girl, and I'm pro black lives matter, LGBTQA+ pride, like a girl, and many other campaigns like these, but there are none that I've seen for just guys. Suicide rates for guys are extremely high compared to girls, and they way guys are expected to always be though and "manly" is causing that. I watched a documentary about this called the mask you live in where I learned so much about gender roles on boys that causes so much damage to no only the individuals but our whole society. I'm just saying that guys also have struggles they have to face with the way they are expected to act and treated if they don't conform to this expectation, and they can say it as unfair for all these other groups of people getting these huge campaigns and movements made. If a white male ever made a campaign for guys they wold most likely be called sexist and treated unfairly, saying they aren't treated wrong and to stop complaining. Just a thought......

Men are ridiculed if they show too much emotion, so many men don't cry because they feel they can't and they don't confide in anyone because they are expected to be tough, they are expected to be earning as soon as they're out of school/college and if they are divorced they don't get to see their children or have to fight to because the system automatically favours the mother. Only men can do hard slog ,menial jobs like roofing , mining, construction, etc yet some women complain that they are above them n women don't have equal rights lol pff...I don't see many women doing those kind of back breaking jobs because we are quite obviously created differently. Actually guys do have it unfair in ways that are rarely talked about, or at least I've never seen any big movements about it. I am a girl, and I'm pro black lives matter, LGBTQA+ pride, like a girl, and many other campaigns like these, but there are none that I've seen for just guys. Suicide rates for guys are extremely high compared to girls, and they way guys are expected to always be though and "manly" is causing that. I watched a documentary about this called the mask you live in where I learned so much about gender roles on boys that causes so much damage to no only the individuals but our whole society. I'm just saying that guys also have struggles they have to face with the way they are expected to act and treated if they don't conform to this expectation, and they can say it as unfair for all these other groups of people getting these huge campaigns and movements made. If a white male ever made a campaign for guys they wold most likely be called sexist and treated unfairly, saying they aren't treated wrong and to stop complaining. Just a thought......
I just want to add that anyone making campaigns and moments in a mocking way, or in a way making the others seems less worthy, is wrong, like the three Lilly Tweeted about.

Men's issues should also be taken seriously and given the same amount of publicity.
Men are ridiculed if they show too much emotion, so many men don't cry because they feel they can't and they don't confide in anyone because they are expected to be tough, they are expected to be earning as soon as they're out of school/college and if they are divorced they don't get to see their children or have to fight to because the system automatically favours the mother.
Only men can do hard slog ,menial jobs like roofing , mining, construction, etc yet some women complain that they are above them n women don't have equal rights lol pff...I don't see many women doing those kind of back breaking jobs because we are quite obviously created differently.
We are equal as human beings but not in all aspects of work, which is not a bad thing but just a fact of life
Yeah but the issue is that all things that men face is due to other men and the patriarchy. The issues that men face and that women face come from the same place! Gender roles, stereotypes etc. that's what's we're trying to take down here. The only reason that women are more outspoken is that these constructs although taking down men also give a lot of men power... But not women. So the reason men face these issues the reason women face sexism is due to the same source!!
+Aysha Suleman men are ridiculed for showing emotions by a system/gender roles/stereotypes created by other men. They have only other men to blame. And also women who try to get into these blue collar jobs face heaps of sexism. Female mechanics, plumbers etc have to work twice as hard as men to prove themselves because of sexism.
Also again the reason women may get more custody to children is due to gender roles. And in my opinion it's not that common. The law usually does focus on the correct parent in most cases.
