Girl here got me feeling better about not being able to afford a sewing machine 😂😅 I see those hand stitches in the beginning! I know I need one eventually 😅
Just stunning! Even the basic dress without applique is just so refined I would want to wear it as it is! Thank you so much for this clear and instructive video!
I like how you stitch the tulle, one hand behind machine, one in front, to sort of guide and support the fabric. Also like how you smooth the appliqué using back of your hand. Great deal of finesse here!
I just started binge watching your tutorials. You are amazing. Are those godets at each of the seams of the overlay? Or is the overlay pattern just wider than the face pattern at the bottom? I was thinking of trying to make my own mother of the bride dress and I purchased McCalls 7320. I was thinking of doing the high low but I'm loving the bottom of this dress now. I'm not nearly as talented as you are but I'm hoping I can pull this off with all I am learning from your videos. Also in one of the videos you state where you purchase your invisible zippers. I just bought one from Joann's but I don't want to worry about it breaking the day of the wedding.
That is such a beautiful wedding dress! I’ve made a few wedding dresses and I know a lot goes into making one. You are a phenomenal seamstress and anyone who has a dress you made is so lucky! ❤
It must be so satisfying to complete a project like this and hand it over to a client who loves the end result. Just watching you put it together like an artist painting was satisfying for me. This dress is sooo beautiful.
Blessings sweetie I have come to understand more that fastening the materials is key to keeping it lined up while you create I do believe in the stick pins and just beautiful thanks! Moma!
I’ve been watching how you put this gown together and it’s got me inspired to attempt to create my own. My fiancé proposed to me on Valentines Day- and I’ve looked almost everywhere. What I want doesn’t exist and I’m still trying to draw it out
Aww!! Have you had your wedding yet? Or are you still tryna sew your gown? I hope it all goes well I’d love to know how it went if you’ve already had it!!!

First of all I would love to thank you I have been searching for good and clear videos until I found yours I have never subscribed this fast on a video so thank you although this video is old but still thank you .
You are so talented! This dress is gorgeous! Trying to work up the courage to make my own and your videos are super clear about what you are doing, thank you for this!
Speechless. Just beautiful. If I knew you back when I got married (2006), I would have come to you to design a dress just for me. Why because dresses are made way too long for me and I,m 5'6". I love mermaid dresses but didn,t get one for that reason. Very time consuming too. Nice work and very professional. 🙃🌹👍
You are incredible making such beautiful wedding gown with kids I couldn’t sew with just one child you are remarkable keep up the great work this is the first time I’ve seen your work and it’s awesome 😎
I've subscribed and about to start binge watching your channel I'm hooked😍 you're one talented Mama. All of this while still keeping an eye on little one when he pops in from time to time. 😊😍🤗 I love it
A beautiful and extremely wonderful display. I wish you permanent happiness, success and progress in your wonderful work. Health and safety to all of you with the utmost thanks and respect. Greetings.💕💕💕💕💕
I just found your video and I love it. I'm doing my first wedding gown design and I made my own pattern but I didn't line my bodice like you did your top fabric. I interfaced and put boning in the lining but my top fabric is a single layer. My question is, do I have to line the bodice?
@@MomthatSews Okay, thanks. I'll cut the bodice in a cotton lining and hand based it down to the top then sew it together before I apply stones. Thanks you so much
Your video is amazing.....I have a world of questions. On desperate occasions I need to work on vintage bridal gowns......for dolls, Madame alexander's to be exact. Gowns where first line owners trimmed tulle or washed incorrectly. I would love it if your videos could slow down a bit for those of us who want to ask simple questions: easing princess seams without clipping? , ironing with without a foot, dealing with water spots on over spray. The only true difference between MA's designs and human proportions are one of scale. ( 1/3 for larger 20" dolls and 1/4 the 16". I look forward to your future videos and hope you can work some in on veil design. Thanks lyn.

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful! You are truly talented! What's the fabric called that you used for the overlay? I know it's tulle but there seems to be so many types whenever I go in store. Yours looks so light and drapey which I love!

Thank you! Tulle is a very irritatingly beautiful fabric to work with. You have to keep the tension on it.

@@MomthatSews I had twins in 2017 and I'm still playing catchup with my sewing. :) the Lord is your strength.
