That is what I ended up going with. ... It seemed to be the general consensus. 🌸😉 I'm not sure if in your painting you are just using dotting tools or just using brushes but I did separate playlists for each of those as well if that makes it easier for you to find the rest of my videos.

I love that you use your own shape on a natural rock rather than a molded round.

    • @MirandaPitrone

Thank you. There is something more earthy with the natural stone connection. I understand not everyone can get natural and I do like the molds...but I have been pai t real stones since I was 5 years old. I love it. So grounding...if that makes sense💗💗😉

I am newer and appreciate your info plus as I have mentioned in another comment, focusing on what you are doing plus the relaxing tone of your voice are now my go to for trying to relax my anxiety, depression, chronic pain and PTSD. I find myself looking for designs and colour combos that with a bit of tweaking I can make my own.

Very pretty ...it is rich ...maybe I have too much time on my hands but I will probably watch a 2nd time after gathering the supplies and letting the black heart dry and paint along on the next watch...sometimes on shorter how tos I find myself rushing which does defeat the purpose ...in my opinion ...of creating art to begin with although I always learn something ...it is more of a share to paint along for me. And my chihuahua Soco is snoring under my chair lol ...Beautiful heart thanks for sharing !

I'm just learning, so I like to see you make each dot in "real time". I've seen the videos with sped-up stuff, & I don't get the same information that you give us. Keep up the good work! I wouldn't change a thing!!

....and with a fold of the paper to make something symmetrical, you just solved all my problems. I thought I might have to spend a tonne of money on stencils and the such, when I can just fold some paper and go to town. 😂 Genius has always been simple and never complicated. I too frequently forget this.

Love your way of teaching, our days are in the high 80's now so dotting will be on my agenda with paint drying slower. Have been collecting rocks so when cool weather hits will be ready to spend lots of time at this. Hobby Lobby just put all of their acrylics on sale at 30% off....I really like Anita's brand it is so creamy and only 77 cents a bottle regular price.

The videos may be long but I usually watch the whole thing. I am hoping to teach this kind of painting at a rally I will be attending in September 2020. I purchased supplies and used some of my coworkers as a test group today (it was small due to COVID). They enjoyed it! Many thanks to you. I still have a lot of practice to do but I think I might have enough skill by September ❤️

    Miranda,
I am one of those that found you for the first time by looking at the picture of the end product. It was unusual for mandala dotting, showed originality, and I was curious. Listening to your thought process as you created made it much more interesting for me. I was thinking about what you were doing and did not even notice the time pass. And I loved it. If someone looks for 7 point something minutes, they either got interrupted or were looking for something easier. Perhaps they like the more predictable patterns. Or asymmetry is not their thing. Whatever. You will build your own follower base best by being true to your own design sense. You will attract people who are interested in what you do. And they will like it, as I did.

Thank you for taking the time to say this. It is so nice to hear an honest opinion about this. I do stick to the on the fly mostly unplanned designs..lol. Also I agree that I should stick mostly to what I do...but I am not a videographer, so my hope was for feedback on how to improve in ways that would still work for me to be me. I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness into this feedback. Thank you so much for watching and being a part of this art journey. :)

Watching this Christmas Day 2020. New subscriber. I love the way you video. Some people like sped up and some like regular like this.
Your voice is soothing. And it’s good to show how you dot. Even the basics of how you cut the heart. Some people don’t know that.
For me, when I see this black heart, my first instinct would be to dot from the outside in. I do dot wooden crosses that way. It’s difficult because there’s no pattern.

I like the long versions both for watching all at once and for pausing ....if I am trying something new( the “swipes” drove me crazy for about 15 minutes!)...but I got it finally “, and turned the video back on and kept going. I LOVE these colors by the way.
...Can’t people just speed up and go past what they do not need to see?
...Please do not shorten your videos. They are like a wonderful visit from a friend and teacher.
I am 65 and really appreciate the joy and learning that I receive from you.....Thank you so much!
....I watch and paint in the middle of the night, because ....After my husband passed and my mother needed a caregiver until she passed,I was my fathers care giver for years and he was always awake at nite, so we did art together, then later I did art by his bedside as he rested or slept, plus he loved watching me as we reminisced and
He could be quite bossy at“ picking out”🤣...the colors that I would use,but now that he passed on recently( at 93), my schedule is still a bit upside down so, night time is still my art time.
Please know what a pleasure and comfort you ability can bring others!!

This made me tear up...what an amazing thing to share with me! I started out in my career life as a Hospice Caregiver. It takes a kind a caring person to look after the needs of others as you have done for your loved ones. It is not an easy job! I am so blessed to have this art community. I really cannot tell you how much I appreciate your comment. Thank you so much for watching. I am so happy it brings you joy and comfort! We all need a little bit right? I look forward to hearing from you in the future :)

I really like your videos, I always watch your videos to the end. It is nice to settle down after a long day and just watch someone take the time to show their skills. It’s time out plus we get to learn new techniques, (the swipe or swish for example) fully explained.
Thank you for sharing your skills, it’s much appreciated 😀

I appreciate the time you take to teach which is so important to me as a beginner. The tips you share along the way would be missed in a high speed version.
    - BUT - One size doesn’t fit all, so I think there is room for both. More advanced students could enjoy seeing patterns, techniques and color combinations at a faster pace.
Keep doing you ~ that’s why we watch ❤️

So first I have to search for a good paint here in the Netherlands. I saw that we can buy the americana also. So hopefully my dots will look as yours in the future👍😀
