I know putting these videos out has to be laborious for someone, but from the reefing community... Thank You! I finally grabbed an Apex w/extra 832 from you guys 2 weeks ago, and my ATK just came in today.... And, this whole setup is bad-ass!! As Jeff over at Mad Hatter's said, "the APEX is the most important piece of reefing equipment you didn't know you needed." And, boy, was he right... I've been able to eliminate so much crap from underneath the stand, it looks like a totally different system. Looking very forward to expanding the capabilities of it.
HI BRS nice video I'm wondering if you have had the ATK pump just humm and not fill the tank then shut down after 5 min My new apex atk. In a clean New setup no fish no nothing and just pushing water to fill tank Every week my atk stops I go back check it out turn it from auto on and the pump hums I have to stop it and then taken apart the RO line from the pump and I blow in it and it seems like there is something in there . I turn the pump on it works fine shooting water all over . Replace the line and it works Again this has happened more than 1 time in 1 week. I'm going on holidays and this isn't a great atk if it fails on me But After looking into this more I'm thinking it could be the Float valve with the push thing that stop the water manually.. Any issues like this and how to solve....
Hello Randy, I know yesterday Ryan said to use the ATO to connect to the RODI container directly instead of having a ATO reservoir that we need to fill. Would you recommend doing that as I think that’s what I want to do but wanted to make sure that’s what Ryan meant in yesterday’s video.
We usually plumb the RODI system to the ATO reservoir, then use an ATO to fill from the reservoir. That way, we never have to manually fill up the reservoir. If you're going this route, you'll for sure need a float valve. We also suggest leak detectors of some sort as redundancy in case of an issue. Attaching an endless supply of water to your ATO reservoir does have it's risks, but they can be managed.
Bulk Reef Supply got it, I plan to have two brute containers one for RODI and one for saltwater and I will have a V2 ATK PMUP in the RODI with high and low optical sensors along with solenoids on both input from the RODI and then also have high and low in the ATO reservoir and then have a ATK from the ATO reservoir plumbed to the sump to top off. Yes I will have two lead detectors by the tank and two by the mixing station as redundancy to make sure it’s stopped in case of any overflow in either areas. Thanks for the response BRS.. 👌👍🙏
Hi guys, my RO water is in the basement. Total distance from RO water to sump return is 25', with @ 7' of that being vertical, the rest is horizontal line run. Will this work?
This kit is said to be standalone, meaning it works without the Apex. Out of curiosity how does it handle the logic in that case? Is it a matter of the float switch toggles having a default setting, i.e. if switch 1 & 2 open then power 24V port, if switch 2 closed then off? (or something like that) I mean you can't obviously program logic into the thing right?
It's eerie how easily I can imagine this guys exact words and phrasing coming out of that other guys mouth. If I could've see the face of the person talking and they didn't have that slight accent difference I honestly don't know if I could tell them apart.
BRS is quickly becoming a beacon of information for reefers... I will never regret doing business with you guys!
Just picked up an ATK on Black Friday. Works flawless and so easy to setup. No more filling the small ATO on my Red Sea Reefer 525
That was the best ATK explanation I've seen yet. Thank you.

Can't wait to set up my ATK I got this Black Friday!!!!
I like my simple top off that is a mechanical float with a valve that is hooked up to my RO system. Simple and few parts.
Muy buenos videos he aprendido mucho... saludos

Damn that's actually kinda cool I could see it being handy for vacations
can it be used with a tunze wave box as the level change?

Looking promising

The RO will be able to move water across this distance both horizontal, and vertical!
Kind of a minor question, but is there any reason you had your solenoid valve before the DI resin canisters instead of after?
CAN IT BE USED WITH A WAVE BOX?

My atk wont stop siphoning from my reservoir. The siphon break is clean. Any idea?
@@BRStv I've done that now and it has stopped. But prior it was submerged and I didnt have any problems
Any idea why I don't have a 'Modules tab'? Under Configuration, I only see Tasks, Output, Profiles, and Summary.
Ah, I see, thank you. I've literally never been in there. Wonder why they couldn't integrate it into fusion like everything else.
How much does it cost? I checked the website and because it was out of stock it wouldn’t show.

Im probably the only one who loses them on all these videos?..slow dowwwwn pls. 😁😁😁 some of us are rookies. 😉
