How is school for teenagers like 15-17? Do they go to super good English schools? Do the wealthy live in mansions? I often hear of people getting murdered rape etc, does this not happen in Juba city? What about flooding and the refugees?
Also is it true in South Sudan only 1 % of South Sudanese have access to electricity? I’m doing a research project on this so I really hope you reply .!!!

As a 5'7" white man, if I visited this region, I would probably be asked if I was a hobbit in the Lord of the Rings movies, lol! Especially around the Dinka. These Africans, especially the Dinka make the tallest white people, the Dutch, look short.

No need to mislead. South Sudan is not yet in Peace. Maybe unless you talk of Juba. At the same time, as long as your a Dinka in Juba, you may have privilege of that safety. Try driving around the country and bring that experience. Juba is just a capital.

I appreciate that you took the time to write a comment. Please note that this video is about MY experiences and I’m not speaking for others. The reason why I made this video was to talk about the beauty of our country. Talking about tribalism here is not acceptable. It also portrays a negative over exaggerated image on all South Sudanese. Please be aware of that.

@@afrikanconfidential8661 What's wrong about tribalism if it exists ? Your thinking is very flawed. It is his experiences as well. Just because you didn't experience it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Experiences vary, miss.

@emmanuelgathara everyone is free to express themselves and speak about their personal experiences. Despite having so many challenges in South Sudan, I choose to focus on the positive experiences. James Loomwa is absolutely free to talk about his experience and is free to use his platform to do that. I choose to use my platform to speak about the positive experiences in South Sudan and I appreciate that my subscribers are supportive and ready to receive the positive feedback about South Sudan. I would like to maintain that. Thanks.

James, thanks for the clarification, and I also wanted to add onto the point where she said most of the South Sudanese are pastoralists, this is not true at all since we have about 64 tribes and most of them are farmers not cattle keepers only about 4 to 5 tribes with probably the biggest population

Don’t also forget to mention the land grabbing, violence and strategy to take over Juba from the people who own it originally. Not every tribe OWN cows. Most South Sudanese cultivate and agriculture is huge in Juba. I wonder why you didn’t mention this? I actually think your video is good, I just think it’s one-sided. I love how you are trying to promote South Sudan, I am a South Sudanese and I want the entire Country to be secure, specialy for its Citizen who live there
Insecurity is real in the whole South Sudan. Juba is only a City and its still not safe to live there but maybe just to visit.
The whole Country is very insecure and thats why alots of south Sudanese dont want to go back to South Sudan.
you will never know when something can happen and any thing can happen any time, 2013 and 2016 a major war brake out
in Juba City and a lots of people were killed including foriegners. Know South Sudanese and the whole world are waiting to see
when will the next major war will brake out because the Politician are not willing to make peace and put security of the intire country in place.

Thanks for watching my video and also giving me your feedback. As you’re aware about the title of this video, I speak on my experience in Juba, South Sudan. You’re right, it’s my perspective and experience which I choose to share on my platform. I also made it a point to share positive information about South Sudan. There are plenty of media outlets and RUclips channels that will share more of what you’ve commented on. The world needs to hear more positive information about our country and it’s our duty to do so.

    • @namimindyaw1201

@@afrikanconfidential8661 Thank you and I really appreciate you getting back to me. I know there are other channels however when I watched your video it just came across as though South Sudan had one culture and this is not true as you know. The positive thing to say about our culture is to show the world that the people of South Sudan are diverse. You gave one perspective, which was beautiful but at least mention that it’s one aspect of the culture. The things that divided us are many and it doesn’t help when we continue in the same way during peace times too.

    • @afrikanconfidential8661
      @afrikanconfidential8661  2 года назад

In this case you can also say that it’s your perspective of how you view South Sudan. I also mentioned at the beginning of my video that it’s my perspective of our country and that’s what I chose to share. You may have a different experience which is unfortunate but I believe that our country is United and we are all working together to build it, which may be in different ways.
I appreciate your feedback once again and will be happy to share more videos which will incorporate more information about South Sudan.

The south is South Sudan, as long as it is our country, for which we fought for, and for that we offered our comrades as martyrs in order for our country to enjoy freedom, peace and democracy. We work for peace in our country, our people deserve to be in the forefront because we have a great history, the kingdom of Kush was the one that ruled the world before the Europeans knew civilization, we are a great people with a very great history
