Even the entity's name is so creepy. "All colors Sam" sounds totally how an alien would try to guess what words humans would use to describe a rainbow.
Yeah exactly this. The entity tried to translate what a rainbow was, as he believed rainbows to appeal to children, like clowns are supposed to 😅 I like Rainbow Sam. He sounds like a friendly chap 😁
Or trying to sound as non threatening to humans as possible to get their defenses down since we refer to members of different races as colors (eg. White black, red, yellow) especially back then so by saying he's "all colors sam" almost seems like "I'm all colors" or like a friend of all races/humans if that makes since..idk maybe I'm nuts lol
"Well, not really, but I am in an odd sort of way." - My response to any question I don't want to answer or admit to but forced to give a response to answer anyway.
The Sandown Clown always reminded me a bit of Stephen King's It. And although it wasn't apparently malevolent, it was extremely unnerving. Sweden also had many stories of mysterious alien humanoids during the Seventies.
What you forgot to mention, is some more details the entity put out. He said he lived off berries and only ate berries, hence the odd dinner he gave the children. He also was asked "Why do you wear that outfit?" and he said "This is the only one I have." Seems rather sad really. He apparently tried making his outfit last longer by wearing wooden planks under his sleeves and trousers which is very bizarre. Apparently the girl noticed them sticking out of his clothing and asked why he had them. All in all, if Sam was an alien being, he seems a distressed and upset individual, who obviously meant no harm. I wonder, though, if the "sea monster" the father saw was in fact Sam's craft moving underwater and the craft was, in fact, Sam's metallic house he took the children to. Just because there's no record of the children's names, doesn't mean anything - look at all the UFO witnesses who refused to be named and also all the UFO witnesses whose lives did get ruined from speaking out. Maybe the father put a press blackout on naming his family.
I think "its the only one i have" could mean "this is my uniform. And that part of his name, "All-Colors" could actually be a rank or title like Captain.

It is nearly identical to one of their previous uploads about a group of children finding a kind alien, then telling their parents and the parents wondering what it was, either a man, or something supernatural. I cant be bothered to go through all of the vids to find out which one it was but Ive heard this one before on here.
Heh, if the dad's story is to be believed.... it wasn't her instincts compelling her. The creature was drawing her to it. Alien abductions often have that idea. The aliens have some power to over-ride your free will. You do what they want because they want it and may not even be conscious that the aliens are controlling you.
Both kids followed willingly. Sounds like Sam was able to gain both children's trust . She was ready to flee too untill he managed to convince her not too .
I didn’t expect to see a video about a paranormal clown that’s actually acting cordial towards a pair of children. Looking forward to the next video even more now.
Other channels have done this but you added more than i heard before and of course you did it in your awesome way. Just added to my nice long Memorial day weekend. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Thank you.
It made me very glad to hear that Sam meant no harm, and that both the children and Fey's father do indeed believe him.~ I believe he is friendly, if trying to blend in, and that he did appear forthe children and "construct" his home just for them. All in all, it sounds like a pleasant, if unusual, encounter!
He is quirky and funny looking! Very strange encounter! It was amusing the description of his appearance and how “spazzy “ he moved. 😆. Wonder what he was. It was cute how he gave them berries and water. :)
I have one of those lists of "tattoos I tell myself I'm deffo gonna get knowing good and well I'll never actually commit to doing it" and one of them is the Sandown Clown playing beer pong with the Flatwoods Monster.
Ah yes the Sandown Clown I first learned about this story from Shrouded Hand's video about it and the story genuinely surprised me for you see I spent my family around almost 15 years travelling to the Isle of Wight including Sandown every summer for work purposes and in all that time I never knew about this story I wished I had back then though then I would've tried to visit the area where the story occurred
To me this is another one of those UAP incidences where the 'visitors' pluck imagery from the abductees memories or TV transmissions and then 'render' it as a 'screen memory' or 'projected illusion' in order to mask their real appearance. They are using 'child friendly' imagery when dealing with children. However like on so many previous occasions they don't seem to understand the fine nuances of the human psyche and so end up creating imagery that seems 'odd' or even disturbing. Sometimes we also see 'retro' imagery like out-of-date fashions and settings popping up in encounters. It's like the visitor's copied a memory or concept from contactee from forty years earlier and then forgot to 'update' their software for the current time period. May be because there are long gaps between their visits to Earth. Since the father had already had at least two close encounters then I think it's safe to assume that the children's encounter with the 'clown' was not a coincidence. This looks like a classic example of the 'visitors' doing a 'generational study' of a family bloodline. The father is almost certainly an abductee. He remembers see the vehicles but the screen memories of his abductions are still in place. He, like so many abductee remembers the peripheral details of his encounters but cannot access the 'core' memories due to memory blocks.
That mismatch of elements that has lots of missing or misplaced details seems a lot like what we get with AI today, and that its programed and fed only stuff from our (current) world, I cannot image how much more difficult will it be to create something that tries to imitate a completely different living experience. Like trying to use our AI to disguise and project ourselves as "accurate" to people in ancient Mesopotamia, we will eventually get stuff wrong and weird them out.
To me, yours is a very plausible scenario if this is a legitimate event. Also, selecting ordinary folks who can easily be dismissed/ ridiculed if they go public. I wonder if the Clown’s declaration as being a sort of ghost suggests it is an avatar or golum type entity..
I would love a museum with 1:1 reproductions of these beings in full detail so we can see theme in person and visually grasp what the people have seen in those moments.
I’ve been waiting to hear this channel’s take on the Sandown Clown case! Unfortunately my favorite, and to me the most mysterious, part of this case isn’t mentioned here! Apparently when questioning Sam as to whether he was a monster or ghost and receiving negative answers, they asked “Well what are you then?” Sam answered simply, “You know…”
About time Bedtime Stories did this one... It is right in the wheelhouse of this (excellent) channel! This is the very definition of High Strangeness! (When the clown says 'sometimes'... Yikes.)
Even though my family and I are all French, my father had his host family on Isle of Wight and they were truly like a second family to him, treated him like the son they never had and my brother and I like the grandchildren they never had either. Super stoked to hear a creepy story from you that happens there! I'll share it with my father, he may already know about it as well.
I may have heard about this briefly on Coast to Coast, but this is the first channel that has really brought this story to light, that I have heard anyway. I gotta say I was really absorbed in this one. Kudos guys.
The first tike I heard this story was in the Paranormal Scholar Channel. A good and mysterious case, good work guys, listening to you is the perfect way to spend my Sunday at the office.
The story has many of the same elements of old Irish folktales involving fairies. Fairies in Irish folklore are quite often malevolent beings. The stories are normally meant serve as a warning to children to be wary of strangers as often accepting hospitality from a fairy carries a heavy price. For example, children who enter a fairy's house for a meal may upon leaving find that years have passed in the human world in the short time spent in the fairy's house, or by eating fairy food they become bound to the fairies and can never leave.
Man, I love the way you tell stories. I swear you could talk to me in full, complete detail about my brother's bowel movements and I'd be absolutely captivated
I noticed you mentioned Sam said "Hello. I am all colours Sam." Yet other accounts always say he said "Hello, and I am all colours Sam." I always wondered whether he actually said the word "and," or whether it was a word added onto the description of what Sam said!

It is nearly identical to one of their previous uploads about a group of children finding a kind alien, then telling their parents and the parents wondering what it was, either a man, or something supernatural. I cant be bothered to go through all of the vids to find out which one it was but Ive heard this one before on here.
This is one of my favorite unexplained stories, so I'm glad you've finally done an episode on it. 👍
Faye did not…have the best instinct for self-preservation
Heh, if the dad's story is to be believed.... it wasn't her instincts compelling her. The creature was drawing her to it. Alien abductions often have that idea. The aliens have some power to over-ride your free will. You do what they want because they want it and may not even be conscious that the aliens are controlling you.
Yet she lived
Both kids followed willingly. Sounds like Sam was able to gain both children's trust .
She was ready to flee too untill he managed to convince her not too .
Ive heard thisnone a few times. As always the art and narration put this one ahead of the rest. Good to have you guys back.
Dude... That alien at the end, you are so EVIL for that... I was looking away from my screen, turned back to it and that THING was staring at me...
I did the opposite I stared at it and didnt blink. Fear turns to courage
*Us, I was right behind you 😜
I didn’t expect to see a video about a paranormal clown that’s actually acting cordial towards a pair of children. Looking forward to the next video even more now.
Really enjoyed to finally see the clown mentioned elsewhere then on ShroudedHands Channel
Paranormal Scholar covered it a year or two ago, to my recollection
I love ShroudedHand so much! 😇
Other channels have done this but you added more than i heard before and of course you did it in your awesome way. Just added to my nice long Memorial day weekend. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 Thank you.
Definitely one of my all time favorite high strangeness stories.
One of my favorite high strangeness stories of all time.
Not sure I'd have been so quick to go with "Sam"! What a beautiful dog in the outro. 💛
Yes! This one of my favorite channels and stories!!!!
hi wingsofredemption
Mr Ballen
Well, that’s a new one . Never heard of this weirdo before, and one to mull over. Interesting story and amazing illustrations as usual. 👍😃👽👽
He is quirky and funny looking! Very strange encounter! It was amusing the description of his appearance and how “spazzy “ he moved. 😆. Wonder what he was. It was cute how he gave them berries and water. :)
In all honesty I bet it was just a mentally ill homeless hermit who might have been on drugs.
I have one of those lists of "tattoos I tell myself I'm deffo gonna get knowing good and well I'll never actually commit to doing it" and one of them is the Sandown Clown playing beer pong with the Flatwoods Monster.
that goes incredibly hard
I have a flatwoods monster Hopkinsville goblin and Fresno night crawler tattoo lol
And added to that tattoo would be Leonard Nimoy looking on in a totally judgemental way while he flips burgers on a bbq.
Okay, I should draw that
Or just get it done on a t shirt
Oh man I’ve been waiting for you to do this one! It creeps me out
Ah yes the Sandown Clown I first learned about this story from Shrouded Hand's video about it and the story genuinely surprised me for you see I spent my family around almost 15 years travelling to the Isle of Wight including Sandown every summer for work purposes and in all that time I never knew about this story I wished I had back then though then I would've tried to visit the area where the story occurred
Interesting... missed this on Shrouded Hand, but will check out their take on it. This has been stuck in my head since I listened to it here.
Oh man, SH's interpretation of the Clown's siren is still stuck in my head til this day 😬🫣
Thank you team !! 🙏🏻
I heard about this years ago on Dead Rabbit Radio. This is one of the strangest stories ever.
Your videos are some of the best story telling videos on RUclips next too wartime stories etc, keep up the excellent work!
Thank you for covering this case! I found it on a wiki for other strange beings a while back and could not stop thinking about it.
This is my favorite channel now, I just wish stories were longer and more of them lol but really like every other day
The story is one of the chilling and weird of all.
I’ve been waiting to hear this channel’s take on the Sandown Clown case! Unfortunately my favorite, and to me the most mysterious, part of this case isn’t mentioned here!
Apparently when questioning Sam as to whether he was a monster or ghost and receiving negative answers, they asked “Well what are you then?”
Sam answered simply,
“You know…”
that was his answer?
@@latviandragon2718 Yep, that was his whole answer
About time Bedtime Stories did this one... It is right in the wheelhouse of this (excellent) channel! This is the very definition of High Strangeness!
(When the clown says 'sometimes'... Yikes.)
always a treat when my favorite spooky channel posts something new
Even though my family and I are all French, my father had his host family on Isle of Wight and they were truly like a second family to him, treated him like the son they never had and my brother and I like the grandchildren they never had either. Super stoked to hear a creepy story from you that happens there! I'll share it with my father, he may already know about it as well.
Great job - one of my favourite weird stories!
Yeah, it's truly the epitome of high strangeness!

I said the same thing!! My two favs too also I’m fond of the Hopkinsville goblins
My grandparents on my dad's side live on the Isle of Wight, been there many times myself! I don't think I'll see it the same again!
What's a better pun: "System of a Sandown" or "System of a Clown?"
is that the one from poundtown?

I may have heard about this briefly on Coast to Coast, but this is the first channel that has really brought this story to light, that I have heard anyway. I gotta say I was really absorbed in this one. Kudos guys.
Man, the ending was REALLY creepy! And it's daytime here! Also, love the reaction of your fluffy GSD. He likes to go out, does he?
The first tike I heard this story was in the Paranormal Scholar Channel. A good and mysterious case, good work guys, listening to you is the perfect way to spend my Sunday at the office.

Sorry for the typo, Another Fantastic Bedtime Story
The story has many of the same elements of old Irish folktales involving fairies. Fairies in Irish folklore are quite often malevolent beings. The stories are normally meant serve as a warning to children to be wary of strangers as often accepting hospitality from a fairy carries a heavy price. For example, children who enter a fairy's house for a meal may upon leaving find that years have passed in the human world in the short time spent in the fairy's house, or by eating fairy food they become bound to the fairies and can never leave.
The little girl’s name being “Fey” made her well suited to be an eyewitness.
AMAZING! THANK YOU GUYS FOR ANOTHER EPISODE!
Such a good episode!! You never miss!

One of the best, strangest story by the best in the business. Tape Library did an incredible job with this one too.
Thank you for the upload Mr. Bedtime Stories❤️
Awesome episode! I can't believe I've never heard of this story before!
Man, I love the way you tell stories. I swear you could talk to me in full, complete detail about my brother's bowel movements and I'd be absolutely captivated
Your storytelling gives me goosebumps every time. This one really made me question what might be lurking in the shadows!
I noticed you mentioned Sam said "Hello. I am all colours Sam." Yet other accounts always say he said "Hello, and I am all colours Sam." I always wondered whether he actually said the word "and," or whether it was a word added onto the description of what Sam said!
The original source for this story, the BUFORA Journal writes it as 'Hello and I am all colours, Sam'
@@kingmerry10 Oh thanks for that info, I have always been puzzled over it
@@VMM34 You can find the original BUFORA article as a PDF online - it's interesting to read the original source, especially as it seems to vary with every retelling!

One of the creepiest stories ever, perhaps it deserves a part two?
Great story great artwork!
You provided much more detail than I'd heard from other versions of the story. Thanks!
Was just thinking when we would see another upload! ✅🤗 love the channel
Nice! I always wanted your take on this, it’s on of my favourite stories.
I find it interesting that you chose to name the male child as "Harry" in this story, as in the original report, his name was never given, only that of the female child "Fay" or "Fae," if you like. "Harry" is folk tradition name for "Old Harry," that of another mischievous entity, like the rest of the Fae Folk. Regardless, I could listen to stories of All Colours Sam all day long. Nice work, and great illustrations.
This story didn’t just freak me out, it blew my mind.
Glad you put out another video! I'm saving this for tonight :)
Love this encounter, it's so wild! I think it's very underrepresented for sure.. Top notch artwork and narration, as always. The Grey at the end was so creepy the way it jerked its head.. uggghhhh! 👽 😱😭
Thanks for another amazing video!
The last bit after the credits was the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life. So much evil in such a fluffy animal lol
I really enjoy the artwork and vocals! I’m glad I found you per Mr. Ballen’s channel!!
It’s always good to watch a new video from Bedtime Stories. Keep up the great work and take care!
It's an incredible and legendary account that deserves its place in history. ❤❤
The Sandown Clown seems relatively benign as far as alien encounters go. Shrouded Hand did a video on him a few years ago, and it's fascinating to hear about him again.
Ive never heard of this one before. sounds like a neat mystery! Kind of vibes both wholesome yet predatory.... Also why does AC Sam throughout the story reminds me of the Skull Kids from Legend of Zelda
Very cool and weird one. How about a sequel dedicated to the Creepy Clown Craze of 2016?
Good lord it’s been that long…
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Uh .. the creepy clown craze literally has nothing to do with the Sandown clown which was most likely an extraterrestrial or extra dimensional being .. wtf does the creepy clown craze of 2016 have to do with anything paranormal -_O it was literally just a bunch of goobers running around terrorizing people.. and failing at that most of the time lol
@@mcoupe69if you know about the Isle of Wight, it could have been creepy pedos.
@@mcoupe69 there's a bunch of creepy stories that can be told and they don't have to be paranormal
Shrouded Hand’s video on the Sandown Clown is a bit of a tough one to beat, but you’ve got it matched.
