My bubble started to pop a year ago today when I bought a menorah. I had already stopped the pagan holidays in 2017.🎉
I live in Baton Rouge, LA, where we only have an Extremely Liberal Messianic Synagogue,
so the closest Messianic "gathering" that only has 7-12 people requires a 3 hour drive. After 7 weeks, there were so many red flags, so I stopped going: 365-7=354 days without any fellowship, family, friends.
My lease isn't up until Sept, but I am looking forward to moving out to Cleveland.😂

Why are we so averse to the "work"? We are ok to work for worldly things but not for spiritual things. In my walk I'm realizing it's easier to work/keep the commandments for Yeshua, we will not keep them perfectly but we have to try and strive atleast. Yeshua made the way for us we have to walk in it.

Most people easily obey the laws of man, their city's and country's laws out of fear for what might happen if they dont.

So by their own logic of following commands because they love they demonstrate their lack of love by following only thei chosen commands and in follow them their own way

you are teaching judaism not new testiment christianity. if you are trying to be right with god by keeping the law thats orthodox judaism which rejects jesus and his shed blood. you are a judaiser which the apositle paul warned of. " By WORKS OF THE LAW shall NO MAN be justified", we are justified by faith in christ and his shed blood ONLY. does that mean its OK to sin?? NO!!!, we are to strive to live a holy pure life becouse thats Gods will for us, but living a holy life and keeping Gods commandments will NOT make us holy, ONLY Christs blood and sacrafice can do that. hebrews says the OLD COVENANT has been ABOLISHED in favor of the new. you are under Gods curse if you are trying to be saved by keeping the law, you are fallen from grace. you CANNOT mix judaism with christianity. TRUE believers in Jesus both jew and gentile are ONE BODY.

We are not to obey Torah but obey Jesus Christ now. The Torah itself says so in (Deut 18:15-19) and this is confirmed in the New Testament (Heb 1:1-4). When you say "obey Torah" it means obey Moses, not obey Jesus. That is what it means, but you will say no, I am obeying Jesus by obeying Torah. But that is not true and you have started on the slippery slope of falling away. When one starts to believe you must merit anything, you start a slow process of falling away, while you think you serve God. First you go against what Paul so clearly taught, namely the revelation of grace by faith. Then, once you start doing Torah you are in danger of getting rid of Jesus also. And so a locust is devouring your Bible and soon you have only the Old Testament. Be warned!

Who do you believe gave Mosheh the instructions/Torah at MT Sanai? So by putting YHWH first, honoring your parents, not stealing, not committing adultery, not committing murder you are in danger of getting rid of the Messiah? Does that make sense to you?

@@missdebbie6791 we don't have to think anything, just believe the scripture
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more, so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

@@missdebbie6791 Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
