BOY WAS I WAITING FOR THIS DAY TO FINALLY COME! Ever since I began collecting weather radios more avidly last year, I’ve been dying to hear my collection sound its alarms for a severe weather outbreak and I finally got my wish on 6/20/21! Thankfully there were no deaths in this outbreak, however extensive damage was done all across northern Illinois, especially in the Naperville area where a confirmed EF-3 tornado would rip through, destroying homes and apartments. Overall this was a very adrenaline rushing, heart stopping, and fun thrilling event, and being able to finally capture it all was an absolute blast! Stay tuned for next time, as this summer still has plenty more to dish out in terms of severe weather. Thank you all for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!

Some days I wish I was able to monitor just a couple transmitters to the west of us, but I'd probably never sleep. The two tornado warnings I caught yesterday were enough for me.
