Hi Derek. I remember your video about your Rukka gear. It was ver detailed and this one is too. I enjoyed. The heated gloves are very useful in case it is cold. I have to try them one day. I hope that you your shoulder will pass everything very well. Yeah, the big service is comig for the Kawa, I know. Hope for the good and warm weather that day. I am very grateful for the mention. Thanks bro. Appreciate it. Tomorrow is my Episode 2 on my channel, but you already know it. Cheers and take care. I read about tons of snow there.
@@RRRRefuelRideRace hi Gregor hopefully the weather is going to be mild next week when I take the bike up north to be done. Still need the heated clothing with me must be an age related thing feel cold all the time. Thank you for watching Gregor I’ll be watching yours tomorrow 👍🏍️
A gal at my insurance broker was asking me about the gear I wear to ride year round and towards the end of the conversation I added up the cost of the riding gear and it was more than my first car... by far. But, that's what it takes to put in miles in freezing or near freezing temps. Best of luck with the surgery in March!
@@birchwoodbiker hi Paul I think that’s the weak side of the jacket the wires otherwise it’s been very useful. I bought these when they first come and still today there expensive. My friend he buys cheap of Amazon or Ali express he’s gone through 4 jackets body warmers at £35/40 a time he’s wasting his money I think my moto is buy the best and buy once.
Derek love the video. Saying it how it is, no nonsense. You've convinced me I will picking up some heated gloves. My winter alpinestars and goldtop gloves not cutting it in freezing weather. Was thinking about getting the heated socks but having second thoughts now based on your video...
As you've found Derek you have to spend a fair bit of money on good quality gear. Look after it with NikWax and it lasts many, many years. Nice to see you on the old RUclips again.
you've got some some great gear there I bet you will be wearing them next week riding upto shipley to get the bike serviced but like you say you get what you pay for
@@bobtaylor5263 hi Bob yes be definitely wearing it up to Shipley when I take the bike in for a service freezing down here in Coventry the fog been here all day 👍🏍️
@@nickaxe771 hi if it’s Keis look at the warranty it’s lifetime warranty on the heating element but 2 years on the rest of it that’s what they told me. I bought 3 years ago when I did my Scottish trip that was cold 👍🏍️
