Hey! I am a entering 1L for this fall and I have a quick question. Would you recommend buying the newer edition or getting a previous edition of a book you need if there's not much difference between the two?
Unless the prof specifically says you need the newer edition, it's always cheaper to get an older one (esp. secondhand if possible). Up to you, but most people I know buy secondhand whenever possible. Law school is expensive enough as it is!
