- Hi everyone! It's been a really busy week since it's been the first week of classes. Sorry that this video is a bit of a mess but I tried to film as much as I could during my week so you could get a bit of an idea of what it's like. I'm currently in Edinburgh but attending classes online.

As a repro grad, I hope you are enjoying your course! It only gets better ☺️ p.s. Peter kirsop is an angel
Thank you! Peter was lovely to have as a professor
What's the accommodation building name, and its location, and its weekly rent ?
Is it a studio room ?
It is not a studio room, it's an ensuite bedroom in Pollock Halls
@Rhiannon Kozel: this video really takes me back!
More than just a few years ago, I lived in the Pollock Halls myself - I spent my 4th Year in Ewing House (Room 410, as I recall), and my first two years were in Cowan House (Room G 08, I believe), which house - alas! - is now no more. I think they demolished Cowan House and built Chancellors over Cowan's 'footprint'.
Is the food in the Pollock Halls Refectory any better now?
Enjoy your time at Edinburgh University - it's a wonderful city, and I miss it very much, even now.
That sounds like a lovely experience you had in Pollock!! There is no longer Cowan house so it must be where Chancellors is now. The food is actually fairly decent personally :)
Hi, love your editing! What do you use for it?🤍
Thank you :) I only use iMovie actually
so i have a question, once i graduate high school in the us would i be looking at pre graduate or undergraduate programs at the university of edinburgh?
also i went to some of those exact same places in march right before corona it was so fun :)
You would apply for undergraduate programs, at least to my knowledge :)
@@rhiannonkozel5411 thanks!
So weird to see someone doing the same degree at the same uni on yt! Good luck with your studies
Thank you :) Maybe we'll meet at some point during our studies
New subbie, love your vibe❤
Yay! Thank you!
i know this is a bit late, but your accommodation looks pretty, was it pricey? Also are you allowed to work on campus jobs?
It is fairly expensive by UK standards as I am catered, however it is comparable to pricing in other countries such as the US and Canada. I am allowed to work based off my visa.
I know this is absolutely unrelated to your vlog (which is lovely) but... do you have any Czech/Slovak ancestry? Your last name sounds sooo Czech to me!
I do actually :)
Hey would u recommend Pollock Halls?
I liked the accommodation and the dining was more convenient (i.e. no groceries/cooking), it's easy to meet people since there are so many students in one area. If it's in your budget I would consider it
What is the course u take at UOE?
I study BSc Biomedical Sciences
Hello rihanno it would be helpful if u assist me for MSC admission in Edinburgh
What do you need help with?
@@rhiannonkozel5411 regarding the application process and i want to know does uni provide any kind of internship for student , if not then it is easy to find one?
@@ayanchapra2203 For MSC there are usually far more internship and job opportunities but you would need to check for your degree if it is automatically built in
@@rhiannonkozel5411 Thanks for your reply , if u know someone who is doing MSC in finance please revert me back
I wanna move there one day😫❤️
Watching this coz Im considering Uni of Edinburgh for exchange.
I recommend!
