I was going to say that you must miss lots of foxes through fiddling about with your phone but I can see how that tracking app works now. They must really be a vital bit of kit.
True! Tracking devices are priceless when it comes to fox hunting with hounds.
We don't kill our fox in Texas. It's all about the chase. Our dogs can run all night long or until the fox goes to ground. That ends the hunt.

@@bearhunter197 That is only a minor part of the reason why we hunt foxes. Everything needs to eat to survive. We hunt to manage the animals numbers because if we didn't then these animals would die a much more painful death brought on by the spread of diseases. Sarcoptic mange can be spread by foxes to dogs and humans and can kill. it's a mite that irritates the skin and can slowly eat away at the hosts body causing them to scratch themselves to death or die through starvation. Of course there are other diseases such as rabies (which we all know about). Lessening an animals numbers means they less frequently come into contact with poorly animals of their own species and it's usually the poorly or weaker ones which are taken through these forms of hunting. I'd rather make it clear to people than just put a one lined reply which tars us all with the same brush.

Thank you! We load all our UNA tss cartridges. Loading one shell cost about 4-5€.
Mettästättekö jänistä/rusakkoa ollenkaa ittee kiinostais tosi kovaa mutta toki kaikki videot on teiltä hyvi jatkakaa samaan malliin
peruna peruna Kyllähän pitkäkorvia tulee joka kaudella vähintään yhtenä viikonloppuna jahdattua. Pari vuotta sitten jahdattiin niitä melkein joka viikko. Nyt on nuo pienpeto hommat nousseet enempi meidän suosioon, etenkin kettujahti. Katsotaan saataisko tällä kaudella kuitenkin tuosta jänis/rusakko hommista pyöräytettyä video. Moni sitä meiltä on pyytänyt 😊

Just to make sure, are you really shooting at +70 meters with shotgun? And it works?
Yes! But only with TSS Tungsten loads. Longest shot I have took was 78m at fox and all pellets went through the animal.

Hi! The Finnish fox hunting tradition is really different from the traditional fox hunting in England. The type of fox hunting seen on our films is 100% legal in Finland and it is also practiced in many other European countries! 👍🦊

I think that the longe range shot was very interesting and im going to do a little experemanting myself. I asume that the tss was self loaded? I also just got a finnish hound puppy myself now

Why do you kill the animal you love to chase with hounds?
Because there is too many of them. It's called population management.
@@jonikangasmaki6481 I am 77 years old and have run fox and coyotes in Texas for over 60 years. It was for the chase not for the kill. When the fox went up or to ground the hunt was over.
@@jimnowak3960 Well we train our dogs too by just letting them run, usually when the dog is young and needs more experience. In Finland we have strong fox population and we try to keep the population in check to prevent possible problems from too big population.

That's like shooting fish in a barrel. There is no spot in that kind of hunting. GPS OMG. You should be ashamed to call yourself a sportsman or hunter.
We never had an abundance of fox, Red or Gray. Anyone killing one for the hide was on our bad list. I apologize for getting mad at you. I am 77 years old and just a cranky old man who loves fox and fox hounds. Please forgive. My Bad. Save a few for seed.
