      @@FAME_ART I’ll go there today in just a couple hours! I wrapped it in a cute paper. She loves sunflowers and even has workout leggings with sunflowers on them. So I’m sure she’ll like it!

    Anyone actually finished the sunflower . I only got 6 pedals on my flower and not 12 . Suspicious

      Hi there! I'm sorry you're having trouble with the petals. The sunflower should have 12 petals if you follow the instructions correctly. Sometimes it can be easy to miss a step. Could you let me know which part is causing you difficulty? I'd be happy to help you out!

      12 Petals - crochet into the 24 sts of the center part.
      Crochet: 1dc, 1trc, ch2 make picot, 1trc, 1dc (in the same st).
      Ch2 and slst into next st.
      The pattern looks like each petal is crocheted over 2 sts. It's not. The petal crochet sts all go into only 1 st on the centre part. I hope that helps?

    Do you have to use cotton yarn?
    I have Caron simply soft that I used to make a daisy keychain could u use that for this pattern as well?
    What type of cotton yarn are you using?

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  Месяц назад +1

      Hi! You don't have to use cotton yarn specifically for the sunflower keychain. Caron Simply Soft should work just fine. I used 100% cotton yarn for mine. The brown and green are 4-ply and the yellow is 6-ply. Just keep in mind that different yarns might give a slightly different look or texture. Happy crocheting!

    What brand yarn did you use?

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  Месяц назад +1

      I used 100% cotton yarn from the brand Magic Needles for the sunflower keychain tutorial.

    What is the brand of your yarn and how many ply?

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  23 дня назад +1

      Green and brown colour yarn - 100% cotton yarn 4 ply.
      Brand name - Magic Needles
      Yellow colour yarn - 6 ply mercerised cotton yarn, not specific brand.
      If you find milk cotton yarn in your area it will work great for this project.

      What size yarn does this come up to? Will a #3 work?

      @@FAME_ART thank you so much

    • @FAME_ART
      @FAME_ART  16 дней назад

      @@31lij90 Yes, a #3 (light/DK) yarn should work fine for this project. The yarn I used is close to a #3 in weight, especially the 4-ply cotton yarn. Just make sure to adjust your hook size accordingly for the best results.
