This is such a poignant message. I needed to hear this. I am listening a week later just to let it sink in deeper. This message is a personal blessing to me… and has challenged and corrected me with some of my own insecurities I have been struggling with (in church leadership) - as I realized I was making it about me. Also, I am so pleasantly surprised to hear such a powerful rebuke/correction to the church at large from this particular pulpit. Motivation and encouragement is necessary, and so is a prophetic correction - this is what God’s chastening looks like. It is loving, and precise. If you heed correction, it ultimately leads to spiritual health, healing, and maturity. Hallelujah! Thank You Lord!!!

(Exodus 14:14) You have the victory in Christ Jesus, be it against debt, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, sickness in the form of cancer, tumors, autoimmune disease, all those Jesus bore on the Cross for you. You are more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ who loves you so much. (Romans 8:37) He is with you right now. You are safe in His care.

Great teaching. I love Lisa Harper. I would like to encourage her that not only do the 10 commandments give us parameters, but Jesus and the Apostle Paul tell us the whole Torah is our teacher. Christians should not use lard or eat any other unclean thing, and Shabbat is still the last day of the week, not the first.

@lisaharper I have been struggling with a few things for many years....decades. On Friday I was just struggling as I was reading in Leviticus about how the Levites did not get an earthly inheritance of land or anything, rather their inheritance was God Himself. For several days I had been struggling with the idea that if God did not restore the relationship with my kids, did not give me a house to own or many of the other things my heart desired, BUT got Him for my inheritance, would I be satisfied. God gave me a heart check and has been doing so over this year as my word for the year is "Trust." To answer the question, I felt bad about being honest because security in those things of life are important to me and trusting in God for everything is a hard place to be. I had been struggling with this for the past week and on Friday and Saturday and even debating with God Sunday morning, I had been praying that you, Lisa Harper, would come to give the word soon and if possible for this past Sunday at my church Elevation. Prior to getting out of the car, God reminded me of the promise and struggles both Hannah and Sarah had with infertility and the promise God made both of them and how the journey did not align with the promise as years passed, and declaration of the promise became apprehension to share as hope became exhausting....Then God showed up in His splendor. As I was in worship God gave me the word "clutch." At first I thought about what all I was holding on to too tight. Then God reminded me that the word also meant a gear shift for the journey only to remember a clutch hitter which is the person positioned to win the game and bring things to a close. As worship ended, here you come bouncing up on the stage and I was grateful for God hearing my prayer. THEN you talked about Hannah and I just about lost it especially when you shared the story of the lady from Orlando at the conference and covering up our mistakes. Thank you, thank you, thank you for coming to my church and challenging me with the words God Himself gave you! May God richly bless you!
