I think it's fantastic that a daughter can spend time with her father and likewise a father can spend time with his daughter sharing some quality time. The gold was a bonus and it sure looked pretty good from this side of the screen. All the best buddy.

My Dad and Grandfather both loved the hills. We went any chance they got. That was passed down to all of us kids. All my brothers and sisters still love camping and fishing. You plant the seed and it will grow!

Wonderful to see you got a chance to spend time with one of your daughters. I have only taken mine once, to pan a area I got some flakes in before and we got skunked, so, I think they would've liked it a little more if they found some gold.

@@TwoToes If all Team Biggs had to contend with this season was a pair of under equipped and overly stoned Hawaiians that would certainly be true. However, this is no time to drop your guard. Team America has been bringing home the bacon in the Preseason. They will come heavily armed with their Minelabs and the luck of the Irish. Also, JC may just have been finding all those boot tacks like a pool hustler blows shots in the early part of the evening before running the table when the heavy bets have been made. It ain't over until it's over and the First World Cup Of Metal Detecting is shaping up to be a truly epic clash of the detectorists.

Very cool! Day out detecting and enjoying the woods with your daughter! My daughter was just married by elvis in Vegas Saturday! Used to take them camping and fishing from toddler's to teenagers. Good outing with family.I'd get me one of those battery operated brush busters and clear off the area.I'd also throw on a pair of gloves.I'm looking forward to you demo'ing how to use that rigging that you posted on that last video on how to move boulders . I used a hydraulic bottle jack jammed up to the upper boulders to bust the lower boulders loose and send them down hill.Just an idea.Bottle jacks are a real cheap and handy tool.I used mine to even replace flooring and beams under the floor boards and Harbor Freight sells them cheap.Heavy to pack but maybe worth the effort is you go in the group.Spread the load or get a cart.
