How To Clean A Stained Antique Sink

Removing stains from an antique sink can be such a challenge. But the results are so worth the work. I tried a couple of different things to clean this new to me cast iron sink.
I am going to show you how to clean a stained antique sink and how to remove stains from your kitchen sink. I didn't want to use harsh cleaners that would ruin the finish on this old porcelain sink so I started with dishwashing liquid, tried baking soda and ended up using bar keepers friend for this kitchen sink cleaning.
I found barkeepers friend to be a really good kitchen sink stain remover without damaging the finish on this sink more than it already is. I was able to remove some of the rust stains completely and lighten the others drastically. I loved showing you how to clean a white farmhouse sink. Bar keepers friend will work for you even if your sink isn't an antique sink.
