White knight is my favorite out of all these. The way it was written was brilliant. It deconstructed both batman and joker and the formula used for the character development and transition of the story gave us a flow much like an epic movie. The references read and seen throughout the story is nostalgic and any fan of the history of Batman's batmobiles would love it because just about every fan favorite batmobile is seen throughout the story. The artwork is different from most but is very unique and helps set itself apart from most Batman stories. Unfortunately I haven't read the sequels or spin-offs but I plan on it. I also recommend court of owls, city of owls, RIP, and Batman and Son, and arkham asylum serious house on a serious Earth.

i only read Batman:Year One intrems of novels but i watched all the other animated movies that were famous from novels. i recently picked up Batman:Failsafe which is written by my favourite writer Chip Zdarsky. I loved his daredevil run so much so i decided to go for his run for batman.

I’m so sick of DC black label, it’s all so samey and boring
