Actually, you can remove the touchpad from the bottom case top part with an hair dryer (and a cutter if you are impatient like me). Heat up touchpad board and sneak gently the cutter blade below.
Then you can just reheat the glue and stick on the new case.
Be careful that you are grounded and that you're not wearing jewelry when working on the components, which are sensitive to static electricity.
Hi Rohan, Thanks for video. I have Lenovo G50-80 and on boot it does not go beyond Lenovo logo, and what I noticed is system date time is set to 2013, could you pls suggest what could be issue and do you suggest anyone in pune for repair as I had very bad experience with Lenovo service centre pune
There might be some issue with hdd I guess,
you need to check if bios is accessible if yes then check if hdd is detected or not. Secondly try booting linux os and run some diagnostics

Have similar laptop with i3 processor 4th gen. It can't be upgraded with higher processor, so is it possible to replace motherboard with higher processor!? I5 or i7 processor???
U cannot upgrade processors in laptop instead use the same

Motherboard is lenovo proprietary. Its U series processor and you cannot upgrade the CPU nor the GPU

Beleive me iam still using this laptop it has crap i3 4th gen and 4gb dd3 ram with sloth 5400rpm hard drive..if I gave this laptop to a rich gamer or streamer it will be a great torchure for him.
I want to upgrade it's ram and replace its crap hhd with slowest SSD(still it will be faster than hdd).
You need to upgrade your Ram and SSD. I am still using this laptop and it is a beast considering its price and age. I have upgraded ram to 12gb and have a 256gb SSD. I often do video editing using premier pro on it and it works fine.

Processor is below the heat sink I have not gone so far but I guess that you can change it. But make sure new processor is compatible with your board .

@@encryptedguy I have same brand and model laptop but with AMD A6 processor (I wanted to upgrade the processor but I am not able to change it because processor is inbuild on motherboard ) so it can't be upgraded and same for graphics card
You can change the entire motherboard for upgrading
I dropped it and battery didn't charge while it was on. Now not charging at all. I think it's an internal issue because new charger also no help. How do I open and fix this issue?

In my laptop, the laptop turns on from battery only and not from adapter. The adapter socket is probably clogged or worn out. How to replace the socket without taking out keyboard, HDD,DVD,ram,fan, WiFi etc?
To replace the socket u will need to disassemble your machine

Check if the fan is rotating
if yes
Connect external display via VGA and see if it displays anything
If fan is not rotating try swapping RAM

I have a Lenovo g70 and i have error code 43 on my graphics card. It's a NVIDIA GeForce 920M and i'v tried all. So i want to see if i Can tear apart the laptop and see what's wrong. But idk where could graphics card in it. What do you think?
The graphic card will be soldered to the board so u can't remove it. But u can try clean install of Windows 10 with latest nvidia drivers

If you have same laptop then you should know that it has integrated graphics so your GPU device will not be listed in BIOS

Is it that much costly? Where will see the bios chip? I don't think it's bios corrupted.. please reply.. thanks in advance
If your os is booting at all your bios chip was in working state. Probably installing a different os like linux would have solved the problem

Yes bios chip can go bad sometimes but if you can boot in windows I don't think the problem was with bios

Bro my g50 is not turning on and also not giving any response even not the charging light is glowing. I put it on a new charger and it just got heat up a little bit from near the battery. 🙁

Try connecting an external display and check if its working.
Also try changing ram.
If nothing works then it may be some motherboard problem.
Laptops don't have CMOS battery I guess. The main battery gives power
I have dual booted my machine with Linux and when I boot into Linux the time of windows changes. N BTW even newer motherboard don't have removable CMOS

@@encryptedguy im having an issue with my lenovo g50 70 core i7, its not powering on. When i push power button the power light lights up then goes off or it keeps blinking after every 2 or 3 seconds and and nothin shows on screen
@@encryptedguy when i searched issue on internet it gave me couple of solutions, 1 drain power then restart, 2 reset/replace cmos battery. I did the first nothing happened but couldn't try the second option cause i couldn't find battery

If in case bios is gone bad you can replace the chip from local repair shop it's cheap. But first verify wether bios is bad or is there any other problem
