I just got a macbook too! this popped up on my fyp and it was fun to watch :)

Midnight is a dark blue-black color while starlight is silver with a touch of gold.
They're both really nice colors, I personally like starlight a tiny bit more, while my sister likes midnight more :)
You should definitely go see the colors in person and choose what you like!

the old space grey one does show marks occasionally, but honestly the fingerprints aren't really visible on the outside of the macbook.
Instead, the fingerprints I get on my screen are a lot more visible.
is the audio quality better than the m1 ? also which one do u like better ? im having a hard time choosing 😣

Yes, definitely! I’d say if you didn’t buy the m2 it’s worth the investment. The battery lasts way longer than my previous laptop (2017) so I’m happy with my purchase. 😊

8 RAM is sufficient for users like me who don’t rely on our laptop too much for our profession/major. By the time the laptop causes problems it would probably be time to get a new laptop anyway… I’d worry more for people pursuing anything tech related but thanks for the concern and feedback.

I guess I’m more of a “buy a laptop, deck it out so it’ll last for years- so will upgrade the RAM etc.
I’ve used a 8GB Ram laptop & I can defo tell the difference between them, they aren’t fun when they are slow.
Its all personal preference in the end ☺️
