It takes a minute to fly through the gas to the rock core, which also has water in it. This is just a game, but IRL gas giants can have a small core of rock, ice, liquid, metals and/or metallic hydrogen ▪science.nasa.gov/exoplanets/gas-giant/ ▪ www.teachastronomy.com/textbook/The-Giant-Planets-and-Their-Moons/Internal-Structure-of-the-Gas-Giant-Planets/
@ yea I think they're awesome and im glad they've added them just thought it was good to say that irl gas giants also have rocky cores which are usually about the size of a planet anyway
I think I would have found it almost cooler if the planet were actually completely made of gas and you could only fly into the gas giants to a certain depth before the ship gets crushed. Instead, you could have floating islands (unrealistic but nice), hidden stations, or large gas mines or gas collection ships in the atmosphere.
So glad they never gave up on this game
I'm glad too :)
I don’t get it. It’s rock not gas.

very thick atmosphere, gas planets have a rocky surface world due to the pressure, but in reality any ship would be crushed
@@ehdan3038 True. It is a fun game that's never been based on realism like some other games. I think they did a great job
