That would be a fun experiment. It will probably happen sooner or later. I'm a fan of both. Lug sails are hard to beat for convenience and practicality. I was originally considering a leg o mutton for this build, but remembered that you end up with a much taller mast that doesn't stow as well in the boat.

I would love to see you try a sprit sail sometime. Maybe a leg o mutton made from an old jib. Both would suit that skiff well .
