Tbh I don't really remember how I did it 🤣 I had another pair of cut off tights and I just use it as a template now. But I would maybe practice first with a pair of hole-y tights that you don't wear anymore. Put them on and mark where you want them to cut off, and then take them off and cut a little BELOW the light first, put them on again and see if you like the length. Cut it little by little because I've cut them too short before so you wanna be careful you don't make the same mistake i did!
