At a tournament in Aspen CO they do a hole the night before the tournament from the top of the gondola to the base that is 2.4 miles long. It's run by the discmania guys, so Simon should check it out!
I love how you say you're behind on the video, and yet I'm able to watch it after I get off work on the same day before 4pm CST. You're just great at what you do in front of, and behind the camera.
Maple Hill sold out of Tree very early this year.. and seeing those huge 30 footers on 11.. I wonder if they plan to leave these as an obstacle?!?! neat!
wow, great idea. love the drone footage. I have played maple hill twice now. gold first, then blue because gold is hard as hell. I have to go back and try gold hole one again. I shanked so bad it was embarrassing. If you think it looks far on video, stand on that hill with the bleachers to your left and you will see it's even farther that it appeared. great video Simon, thanks.
I wonder if you could use skips on the ice to get crazy distance and shortcut on some throws. Would be curious to see how far one could throw skipping on a frozen lake.
You deserve a huge break / rest after all these videos man, huge thanks again for these! Started disc golf last year and I really like the community! Overall really positive for my life! -Beginner from Massachusetts PS I'm learning the outro song on my guitar
Now I want to play Milo east teepad 2 to Milo west basket 6. Measures in at about 4460' on Google maps. Maybe you or Foundation can film that at the BSF next year? Edit: Milo west teepad 7 to Milo west basket 1 is about 4600'. Might be the longest "straight line hole" you can play on one established property, even though it's technically two different courses while in the year round layouts
Why is it I got so excited thinking about having a 9 hole course with a bunch of like Par 7s and 10s and stuff? That would bring putting a bit less into the mix but more placements and creativity. Hopefully not so much open holes but some into the woods so distance helps but finesse would be KING. Of course this couldn't be a touring course but would be a fun course to think about if it could be done in the future sometime.
Thank you soooo much for vlogging everyday through the holidays!! For those of us in the north, you are satisfying our disc golf urges while there is too much snow for some of us to play in!!
Love watching your videos man. Wish I would’ve hit amesbury, maple hill, and some other courses in mass before leaving NH. Probably would’ve ended up throwing a round or two with ya LOL. Keep the videos coming man love it
I think disc golf coverage channels should start adding whole course flyovers or something similar. Like I have seen Maple Hill played so many times but really had no idea what the property is laid out like, seeing this long and high flyover and where some of the holes are in relation to each other was really cool.
Great video! I’ve been loving your vlogmas content. I hate watching tight woods golf tournaments. Watching the pros throw perfect drives only to kick 50’ left or right hurts me. Random rant haha This 3000’ hole reminded me of that
I recently started watching this channel and it’s awesome. I really like the creativity of all the different videos. Also, as a new again player (picking up the game again after more than 10 years) it’s amazing how the sport has changed. This content is great!
That was incredibly fun to watch! Vlogmas, so far, has been excellent! It really is going to be sad when it's over. My cat has been sick for a couple days and whenever I start watching a new vlogmas, my cat perks right up and watches with me! Thank you for the great videos.
Another fun "We have special permission and full reign" idea would be to compete for who can hit all 18 holes in the least throws. Obviously, this is would be for a course that zigzags across so doing holes out of order is best and you could either throw from within 5-10 of the last scored pin or from the next closest tee.
Hey Simon, once you got by 8s basket, how many shots do you think it would've taken to go by hole 9 and 10, and then from the top of the hill? I'm thinking 3 to the top of the hill, plus 3 more to get to the final basket
Maybe y'all could do another longest hole vid with a temp basket through a straight easement, like what power transmission lines run through, make sure it's varied elevation! 5000' and show Simon throwing it over those mountains!
Michael Stelzer and associates played a hole in Söhnstetten from a hill with a radio tower to one of the baskets on the Söhnstetten course in 2000-and-something that was over 10km away. Does anyone have the approximate actual distance on that?
This would be an awesome charity event that could be sponsored by some of the DG production companies where the pros could come out and do this with maybe a crowd or something. People could come out and watch and potentially have some giveaways and it would be cool to guess what golfer would win. I got way too into this as a concept lol.
I once got a 13… I traveled 3 states up for GBO and got quadruple circle 13. I thought I got 12 but my card mates both reminded me it was 13!!!! Hahaha
Foundation Disc Golf: Longest Disc Golf hole ever! Simon: “Hold my beer”
hold my cloud pleaser
Can you beat me to it! 🤣🤣🤣
Same thought!!!!
I'm going to set a basket up 5 miles away!!!!!
Ha, I'm not the only one who noticed this I see.
Fair play. Looks like we have to find a spot to do a 5000ft hole now.
Please do. Get simon to join yall
I see a collaboration coming
Might as well make it 5280ft for a full mile
Foundation got absolutely BODIED today haha so funny these came out on the same day 😂
@@Mraclaws please no
Well. At least we had it for a few hours 🤣
We will be back!
Watched them both....keep them coming guys. Conner's fall on foundation was painful.
We love them both guys! No worries. 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Even though I didn't get online till now. I watch your guys' video first. You 3+2 serious crack me up. Keep it up.
But what about the fastest? ruclips.net/video/RjgnyeH1ONc/видео.html
Nothing more relatable than Matt telling “OH NOO” immediately after most shots. 😂
Matt is a genius, having an average person play next to you really helps us to see just how incredible your shots are.
Foundation: Longest Disc Golf Hole ever.
2 Hours later
Simon: No this is the longest hole ever.
Competing with Foundation Disc Golf I see 😂
At a tournament in Aspen CO they do a hole the night before the tournament from the top of the gondola to the base that is 2.4 miles long. It's run by the discmania guys, so Simon should check it out!
Time for Elaine king to run back the longest (almost) ace
I love how you say you're behind on the video, and yet I'm able to watch it after I get off work on the same day before 4pm CST. You're just great at what you do in front of, and behind the camera.
Foudation folks just did theirs lol. The timing.
The disc golf community is unrivaled. All of the comments coming from Foundation directly to SImon is awesome.
That was shot 5.
Yeah! High five?
High five.
:D loved it

Maple Hill sold out of Tree very early this year.. and seeing those huge 30 footers on 11.. I wonder if they plan to leave these as an obstacle?!?! neat!
That was fun. Seeing Maple in the winter helps me realize how relatively small "acreage-wise" one of the best courses in the world actually is.
13:07 Thanks for trying this Matt! I haven't laughed that hard in ages. 😂 At least I'm not the only one throwing 360s straight right.
My local course in Denver is basically a straight out and back. #4's tee to 14's basket is almost exactly 2 kilometers (about 6450 feet).
I want to see this next year on vlogmas to see if you can beat the 13!!!
10:00
What a play.
This had me on the edge of my seat.
😂🥳

man i just feel like simon would be the coolest dude to play disc golf with. so casual and fun
My buddies played a 3600 ft safari hole about a month ago at bud Pell @ ross farm in Silverdale Washington.
You deserve a huge break / rest after all these videos man, huge thanks again for these!

I absolutely love that this idea was thought up separately by two different channels and released on the same day.
ive never played this course, but i feel like i know it better than some of the courses i do play. good stuff simon.
So crazy not seeing snow on the ground this time of year that far north!!! Either way, great vid as always! Keep em' coming!!
Once I saw the title and photo, I knew it was 1 to 11. It's a perfect lineup. Awesome thought on this!
What a fun time that looks like! Thanks for always bringing something different.

Simon you can definitely get like a 10 on this hole if you cross the lake with ice immediately or hit 7 fairway. Great video!
Thank you soooo much for vlogging everyday through the holidays!! For those of us in the north, you are satisfying our disc golf urges while there is too much snow for some of us to play in!!

Udisc has the overhead layouts
Man, I about got motion sickness as you were describing the hole! lol. Great video all around though, as usual.
What a challenge! And then to shoot a 13 and 15 after everything. My heart was racing watching this!
13:06 hahahaha amazing
How do you keep track of the landings when theres no vision? i mean, to find the disc.
The Lucky King lmao your friend is hilarious
Great video! I’ve been loving your vlogmas content.
I hate watching tight woods golf tournaments. Watching the pros throw perfect drives only to kick 50’ left or right hurts me. Random rant haha
This 3000’ hole reminded me of that
Like the ice coming into play, adds a cool dimension.
Another great video Simon! Matt's energy was amazing and I am putting in my vote to make the vlog series year round XD
I recently started watching this channel and it’s awesome. I really like the creativity of all the different videos. Also, as a new again player (picking up the game again after more than 10 years) it’s amazing how the sport has changed. This content is great!
Can’t wait to see what you do on my birthday tomorrow!! Great job today!!
That was incredibly fun to watch! Vlogmas, so far, has been excellent! It really is going to be sad when it's over. My cat has been sick for a couple days and whenever I start watching a new vlogmas, my cat perks right up and watches with me! Thank you for the great videos.
All that to air ball the putt lmaooo. Great video!
I agree it IS sad! Thanks for making such great content. Congrats on the baby and rooting for you in 22'!
Such a fun and creative challenge! Made for a great watch; really loving this videos this month!
Hahaha foundation disc golf just came out with a video a couple hours ago saying longest hole ever! Haha theirs was 2500 ft
Should does this at Clement Farm in Haverhill, could start from hole 8 and play to hole 15’s basket.
Title sounded dumb but it was actually really cool to see you try and tackle that. That shot over the hill was a SMASH!!
These Vlogmas videos are a highlight of every December day!! Thanks for the videos!
I like how you film these in real time (if you can manage). It's cool to see it on the same day as filming
never played disc golf in my life but loving this youtube rabbit hole I've fallen into somehow lol
"I'm not mad at you, you tried" hahahahaha
This should definitely become a tournament of some sort; make it longer!! Cross-country disc golf.
There should be a “disc golf mile” tournament. You see how many throws it takes along some route. Very
*3000 foot hole*
First shot by Matt: “just layin’ up.”
Steve Dodge should call that the Simon Line and only the first couple of tee times each day have the option to play it.
Your killing the blog as Simon! Really enjoying watching every day
Cool to see the infamous Pirate Layout at Maple Hill get some play 😎
Did you find my Star Wraith in the Christmas trees left off 11 basket. I really would like it back. Next vlogmas video: return my wraith to TN

We love the Lucky King, have him play with you more!
I've always dreamed of doing this!! So cool that you guys got the opportunity!
Amazing! Not the direction I would’ve imagined, but it worked out well eh!
Favorite vlogmas video so far!
Perfect timing right after the foundation video😂
I know Champ has played hole 16s teepad at Cliff Stephen's to hole 16s basket at Coachman in Clearwater
Maybe y'all could do another longest hole vid with a temp basket through a straight easement, like what power transmission lines run through, make sure it's varied elevation! 5000' and show Simon throwing it over those mountains!
Dang, Simon! What was the distance on that first throw?
Awesome content. Great job Simon and Matt.
After watching all these videos, I'm curious... are there any particular color discs you prefer to throw/hate to throw?
This is the greatest thing you have ever done. I have not seen the result yet but I do not care lol.
He seems really wholesome
Maple hill is a dream course to play I'm hoping i make it there next yr
Michael Stelzer and associates played a hole in Söhnstetten from a hill with a radio tower to one of the baskets on the Söhnstetten course in 2000-and-something that was over 10km away. Does anyone have the approximate actual distance on that?
You should do a stadium course you make up as you go like Paul and Brody did at the Liberty Football stadium for a Vlogmas episode.
This would be an awesome charity event that could be sponsored by some of the DG production companies where the pros could come out and do this with maybe a crowd or something. People could come out and watch and potentially have some giveaways and it would be cool to guess what golfer would win. I got way too into this as a concept lol.
Winfield Jansas (The Friz)
They had a hole there 1200ft
That hole was over half a mile long. That's crazy!
How long did it take to find your discs in those trees?
sounds like a great elimination tournament format
Shoulda used the drone to capture shot 5 Simon threw over the water to 8's basket.
It’s cool. Give your guests some more love!
one of the best ideas youve had yet dude!
I want to know how long it took both of them to play this hole including the time it took to find every shot.
Man, that course is so pretty 😍
A one hole high par course sounds awesome actually.
That sweater was killin it!
3000ft as the crow flies… 4000 feet as Simon’s discs fly
This looks like so much fun
Poor Matt sounded a little winded when Simon sent him up the hill to catch his shot. I hope Simon pays him well.
You should make this a tradition. Each vlogmas day21 play this hole.
safari holes are fun rt on merry Christmas ❣
Yoooooo foundation are you just going to take this?? 😂
So many people are going to try this at Maple Hill now.
I once got a 13… I traveled 3 states up for GBO and got quadruple circle 13. I thought I got 12 but my card mates both reminded me it was 13!!!! Hahaha
SIM0N IS "THE SKY G0D" !!! BEST CHANNEI 0UT THERE !!
this would be cool as an anual thing since they close it each year you have the opppertunity
