    We used to play in the Silk Mill as kids. They would let us watch them work for a while and chase us out. So the next day, we would just be back again. Grew up 2 blocks away on Broadway.

    Mark Thanks for the short glimpse into Fountain Hill. As a Hiller born and raised we are proud of our community. My mom was so proud when the post office acknowledge it as a separate post office and in her large/beautiful gladly addressed it as so. Mary Knipe-Sedor

    born at St. Lukes & adopted to Philly. My birth family lived in the area for over 200 years.
