- September and October are two great months to observe spiders hard at work in the midwest. Using the Sony a6300 and the 55 - 210 lens, we'll be observing these amazing creatures up close and personal. We'll also be using a +2 closeup filter to ease our way in to get an even better look.
I was observing a spider one day outside in her web and wanted to see how they react when prey is caught. Unable to find a suitable goody for her to eat, I picked up a small leaf and tossed it into the web. I’ve never seen anything move so fast. She dropped down immediately and saw that it wasn’t prey. What she did next blew my mind - she bit the strands holding the leaf in, got hold of it and dropped it to the ground. I guess she didn’t want anything in her web that would cause prey to fly around it or make it detectable. Your video is beautifully done, with excellent information.
That's incredible Gabe! They are so much more in-tune with their surroundings than most of us (including myself) think. Thanks very much for watching.
this really shows how elegant spiders can actually be. Thank you, this was a treat to watch.
Nick, ive gotta tell you bro,.. which you already know this,. But this is next level. Watched it twice in a row. The music, the editing, the voice, and the appreciation for things that 90%of people dont even notice. Its like watching planet earth, with a better narrator.
Thanks so much Cameron!!
Great content, can't believe it doesn't have more views.
Wow ! Really beautiful camera and production…..felt so peaceful 💕
I'm so glad I discovered your channel! I really enjoy the craft you apply to your work and patience being present in life. Great work on this video!
Thank you very much, Stephan! I really appreciate it. I'll be uploading much more consistently in the upcoming months. Thanks for watching!
Very good, surprised this does not have more views.
Thanks!
Did anyone else think he was putting a flame to her web before you found out it was a moth? 😂😂😂
it feels like watching an artist paint
Love from Thailand
One of the best videos. So soothing and so satisfying. The details were amazing 👏. This work deserves more likes and your channel deserves more subscription.
Thanks for sharing with us.
Love from Dublin, Ireland.
Wao man. I love your talent. You got a bright future man. Keep it up. Awesome
Thanks Abel!
Beautiful record. I love the music, can you tell me what is the music? I want to play it all day!
PS: love the music
great work brother ❣how can i get the 4k footage of this video?
My wife says I lie but I swear if I give the spiders on my trail the time, they have actually rolled the web up let me pass and lower the web. This has happened many times.
Has anyone ever told you that you sound just like Tom Cruise?
Hi Pam, I don't think I've heard that before. Thanks for watching!
A spider cannot just Willie nilly its way across its own web they must know the type of silk by touch. Walk the supports catch food with the sticky stuff.
This was a beautiful video! I appreciate the way you talk about her as more than just a pest or creepy thing like most others do. Spiders are amazing little animals and this video captured that perfectly!
Thank you Annie! They are amazing little animals.
As a gardener, I love spiders, and hate the butterflies and moths they prey on, that hatch their swine offspring on my crops they then ruin
I just saw a moth being murdered here. Who should I call for this traumatizing experience?
I mean you do not understand why people kill spiders, but you kill a butterfly or whatever that is to feed her dafuk
I have always loved watching spiders. This video was great to see.
How did my high ass get here..
Don't matter now. Do it?
I’ve had a spider living on my back porch for about 6 months. I check on him every day. Not sure the type of spider he is. But the web he’s build is absolutely stunning
We have several Argiope in our small yard and I saw a male on one of the female web tonight and I started looking up videos and that’s how I found yours! Great video!
Nick: I don’t know how can people kill spiders.
Proceeds to kill an insect and feed it to the spider.
This video was really cool, thank you. Lovely asmr vibe to this. Handsome host also
"It really confuses" you when people kill spiders but it does not confuse you when you kill a moth. Why all this insect discrimination lol !?
I do suppose I'm guilty of assisting in a moth murder here lol, but I was more so referring to people killing them for no reason when they are outside just living their lives, simply because they don't like them. The spider will catch its prey regardless of whether or not I assist with it. But I do understand your position. Thanks for watching!
thank you!!
I’m doing quarantine with my 8 year old. On a walk we observed spider “nets” that were speckled with raindrops. There were several every two feet or so. I believe they create a web tunnel in the plant/hedge. We had a discussion about how they wrap their prey and your video was gorgeous and perfect! Thank you for being part of our science lesson”, much gratitude 🙏🏽🕸🕷
Thanks for watching Trista! I love it when the little rain droplets gather on the webs. A perfect photo opportunity! I'm so glad you both enjoyed the video, and I hope you and family continue to stay safe while we all work our way through this time. Take care!
Poor motho
Wow dude. Awesome video. Try Dmt.
