I just can't get over how creative that river build is. I recently started a new vanilla build and built that river with your sunken (metro) tracks running parallel on a bit of a curve. The whole thing looks so heavily engineered that sometimes it feels like I am playing with mods when I look at it. And it is all thanks to your super easy-to-follow tutorials. Thanks!

The "Stack-Slash-Whatever Interchange" is more creative* than any interchange that I've ever put in my cities. So many different designs with space for them all. *Creative and successful. I've had some more creative unsuccessful... monstrosities... that had to be removed.
I love your style and dedication to perfection. It echoes the same approach I inevitably take with my vanilla city building, where I invest my heart and soul in infrastructure projects then battle my way through hours of bulldozing and rehashing every detail out right to the end...and it's worth it. Keep it up bro, maybe sell off your Majorca timeshare next year. Cheers.

If you are looking for ideas on how to add some variety to the waterway, I might suggest taking a look at Cheonggyecheon in Seoul. It's basically an urban park built by daylighting a stream and adding some green space and amenities around it. Adding the streets to it the way you did in this video makes it very easy to create pedestrian walkways crossing the river and along the side that mimic this.

You can tell he did a perfect job when I looked at the river and intersection and immediately it looked very close to the river and intersection parts in GTA V (LA)
Your builds never cease to amaze me. 🙌 Do you plan something like this out or do a test build before recording? Or do you just kind of go for it and see what happens?
That is wayyy to big honestly. When you built a bike path network troughout your city and multiple freight train stations directly integrated into Industrial areas your traffic volume will drop so much that you wont need such enourmous interchanges that "fix traffic"
@@beepbop6542 no it isn't unrealistic, especially in US where everything is built around cars. I appreciate Imperatur's work, just saying that I'm not a fan of huge highways and intersections. You can guess I live in Europe :) Pedestrians FTW! :)

In order to mix up the river a little bit, you could add flood zones and retention ponds that sometimes double as parks and playing fields
similar to sections of the LA river
reminds me of vienna. there is a interchange like that right near the "donaukanal"
