I enjoyed watching you with Kevin Hart. Never heard of him before, but he was so relatable to my own life. I spent two years in bed with a heart condition and during the Covid lockdown. I was so determined to enjoy my life and have fun and let the days count for something- reading, listening to music and podcasts, writing, sorting out my stamp collection, watching movies, writing about old movies, talking to friends for hours on end about documentaries on a myriad of subjects and learning so much. I was alone, not one person visited me in two years. I ordered food, took showers once every two weeks, bought new clothes online, watched the dust pile up in my apartment but felt I had an understanding of the world just by listening, reading and writing. My life came forth or fifth. It was a great revelation. There is so much more than me.
@Narly waves It's actually funny how u'r a prime example of the negativity spreading "online entities" that Kevin Hart and Joe describe in the video. It's a beautiful thing. And sad.
"Theres a payoff for bad eventually, things can only be bad for so long.... things will eventually turn around" - Kevin Hart's comment hit me hard; it was beautiful, mindful and intelligent. This really helps me feel better about the future honestly. Thank you Kevin!
I just started the video... I think I’m going to write that down and save it in my wallet... even though I tell myself something along those lines often the added ‘payoff’ is gold. I have suffered long enough
The man talks to everyone and has an actual conversation ,so you get an actual feel for people .ignorant hateful people who want people ignorant so they can be manipulated give marching orders to sheep who don’t think for themselves to dislike. Because nobody wants to hear Kevin Hart be positive. They want to hear him be funny which is understandable. Reminds me of the interview Navin Johnson was given on the movie “the jerk”.

Inter Yanan I can see the saving face vibe, but it seems to be much more than that. He’s hopping on one of the biggest podcasts so it makes sense that he’d try to put his point of view out from the “controversy”. But I see what u sayin
This is hands down one of the most motivational and heartwarming podcasts I've ever listened to. Thanks Joe for having Kevin on and thank you Kevin for being so inspirational.
I freaking love Kevin Hart, he's such a positive, genuine, talented, down to earth artist and man... he's a rose amongst thorns and a real inspiration and a credit to his profession.
@@chevyDboyMike can you explain to me man what made you think that originally? Glad you see him for the lovely man he is, but I am curious about the mindset you were in, can ya elaborate?
Im English and the same ish age as Joe, ive never seen any comedy Kevin has done and dislike his films that ive seen but what a lovely, normal, sensible, nice human being he is.
I'm half English and half American (with some German sprinkled in). My mom is English abd my dad American, and I was born in England but on an American Air Force Base. Lived in both countries a good amount of time, enough to understand each country and the people who live there. I've lived in America through my middle and late teens until now (I'm 46), but have visited England a few times. I even have duel citizenship. I say all this because if anyone understands the reason you may not find him funny, it's me. The sense of humor is so damn different between both countries. It's seriously astonishing. I'm guessing its why most stand up comedians don't take their shows across to other countries, and the ones that do don't do near as well. A good example might be Eddie Izzard. I think he is hilarious, and such a smart damn comic. When he tours in the US he does well, but nowhere near as well as he does in England. What's really interesting is both countries seem to like the same types of comedy, but they still end up being so different. For instance surreal, absurdist, and slapstick humors/comedies are big in both countries, but Monty Python is way different than Mel Brook's Blazing Saddles. Its just a different sense of humor. Btw, the best movie of all time, let alone the best comedy of all time is "Step Brothers". Anyone who disagrees with me will get gonorrhea in their eyes, syphilis in their nose, herpes in their ears, and crabs in their ass cracks.
@@UnknownUnknown-bx2lc He's only human. We all fuck up sometimes. I'm sure you're no angel. Besides, that shit is between him and his wife. Inspiration can come from how people are able to bounce back from their past mistakes.
kevin has been giving me the comedic respites these past few years and now a refreshing non-toxic positivity that is convincingly genuine, inspirational, and elicits introspection.

I really, really enjoyed listening to this Joe. Kevin Hart was very powerful, and his approach to every thing he is involved in. Honestly, I didn't know he was such a intelligent human being. Thank you both.
Try to get Tom Hanks on. He's the guy you want to get, he has tons of great stuff to talk about. Especially about WWII vets, his interest in history, and his own long history of being in HollyWood.
Lost complete respect for him when he gave us the whole act of "I'm a changed man, learned from my mistakes in my first marriage, blah blah blah," then the truth comes out that he is out cheating on his fiance. He talks a big game, actions speak louder.
Kevin Hart is such a genuinely good guy. His heart is really in the right place. Amazing how positive his outlook on life is and he really does not hate anything or anyone. It's truly inspiring. Still blown away the internet even tried to cancel this guy... he does not deserve it.
I am going to be honest here. I’ve watched A LOT of Kevin Hart interviews in my life and this by far was the best one. In his other interviews it seems he’s trying to put on a front, or trying portray a certain type of imagine of himself. However, in this interview, he’s being genuine, and that was fucking awesome to watch! This is why Joe Rogan is the best in the game.
This is a very touching interview. The portion of the conversation that talks about growing up less fortunate, then succeeding and having the thought that this isn’t real, is so real.
Kevin is a good guy. Not a malicious bone in his body. I'll boil down all the negative comments about him into one sentence: He's successful and happy, I'm cynical and jealous.
Alot of mfs in these comments hes talking directly too. To many people ready to shit on someone vs prasing something positive theyve done. Its fuckin sad
@1:27:51 watch Kevin Hart get mad at himself for forgetting his vitamins, cus himself out, and then once Jamie brings up the vitamin screen, Kevin it's quick to shower Jamie with compliments and move on. No joke, I think this shows a lot of Kevin grit, he's hard as hell on himself instead of others and it's definitely part of his success.
I love the positive energy! I believe that some people are born with the ability to see the good. I also can almost always see the good side of any situation. I try and motivate and send out love with everyone I can. ♥️
Amen to that. As a comedian, I think he's corny as fuck. But, as an interview subject, it's hard to top him. I always say after seeing his interviews, "How come his stand up/movies aren't as good as his interviews?"
@@plexitymusic he is trying to say, you close your life, what do you see?experiences, stages you go thru, your dreams, etc. Do you know how it ends? My interpretation of it is this: life's your own book, as you grow and live, what you go thru is like writing in your book. To me, I take it as I am control of my own destiny. I want my destint to end on a good note. Hope this helps. Like I said, this is how i interpret this quote.

no wonder he's so successful. regardless people are saying he's funny or not. his positivity is off the chart. his take on social media is on point. the only way to deal with it is being positive.
I watched a interview of Kevin 5 years ago and his attitude towards life, his surroundings, success and family hasn't changed. He was positive back then and he says it again today. Good job to the both of these guys. Both successful people. Instead of people trolling these comments, you guys should focus more on the positive outlook of this podcast and retain the knowledge and information being given here. 1 positive action can change any negative moment.

This is another reason why I will be a huge fan of Kevin Hart. How humbling is it to see a man teaching his kids values and the important things in life. Props to you Kevin for reminding us what's important in life.

Hey Ryan, I work in casting on a show that is looking for individuals who have been inspired/motivated by celebrities. If you live in/near Los Angeles are interested in hearing more about it, send me an email (email address on my channel in the About section).
Kevin "100%" Hart. His self reflection is genuinely inspiring.
Awww 100 percent heart. That was so sweet🥰
Agreed very genuine guy

Getting motivated is easy, but maintaining that energy through life's ups and downs is the true challenge. Getting up every day and pushing yourself is hard. If anyone has any tips, I'd love to hear them
Don't try to focus or don't try to not focus just do, and if you can't it ain't that important.
I'm trying. I finally found a job that I really enjoy and pays me decent. I struggle with mental illness. All I can say is keep your head up. The bad doesn't last forever. It comes and goes. Don't dwell on what you can't change. Everything lasts for a season. It gets better eventually. Make hay while the sun shines.

Four years ago when I watched this episode it sparked something in me and made me Go after the things I always wanted from Life. At 1:47:33 when he talks about OUR LIFE as a Book and the WHY NOT part...I still watch this episode time and time again as a reminder of where I don't want to go back to. Kevin is an inspiration, I don't care what people may say about him.
Joe is a master host. He lets his guests talk without interrupting. The banter was great with these two. Awesome sit down

Nver heard of him before 🙃? Where are you from ?
Once every 2 weeks?? 👀 Wooooah! 😷😂
Seriously though, great comment. It's vital to find peace and positivity within ourselves.

If these two men together do not put a whole other level of inspiration into your life, I don't know what will!
So fucking true!
Man especially Kev he was just in the zone
@Narly waves It's actually funny how u'r a prime example of the negativity spreading "online entities" that Kevin Hart and Joe describe in the video. It's a beautiful thing. And sad.
I teared up when he talked about bringing his dad up with him 😭 what a good man! So inspiring!
How can 7000 people "Dislike" this episode all around positivity??? Proves a point.
They can’t take the truth
Because they don't like that he wasn't cancelled for a minor transgression a decade a go

People just dislike for fun which is messed up

Im English and the same ish age as Joe, ive never seen any comedy Kevin has done and dislike his films that ive seen but what a lovely, normal, sensible, nice human being he is.
I personally find his comedy hilarious. You should give it a go imo
Danny The GFP his comedy is pretty good, his movies are pretty bad, but he’s an incredible person
Ya there’s nothing like a normal guy that gets caught cheating on his pregnant wife. So inspiring.
It's none of our business and it's pointless to get offended by a complete stranger cheating on his wife, who's also a complete stranger. Inspiration can come from how people are able to bounce back from their past mistakes.

Because this podcast is between two comedians. They're peers and friends. Kevin gets to be genuine.
Because there is a difference between an interview and s podcast.
This is a very touching interview. The portion of the conversation that talks about growing up less fortunate, then succeeding and having the thought that this isn’t real, is so real.
